Pippa's POV
Today is the day.
It's the first ultrasound for our little baby.
I roll over onto Lin and he stirs very quickly. He flips over. He then gently slides his hands over onto my belly and lightly pokes it like a small child.
We both giggle a bit before getting up and heading to the kitchen to get some food.
Lin serves us both food before we go to get ready.
"I'm so excited!" Lin squeals.
We're walking to the ultrasound place.
"I am too!" I respond.
"I can't wait to see my tiny little baby. I can't wait to hear its heart beat. Eeeekkkk!" Lin shrieks softly causing us both to chuckle.
We eventually arrive at the place and are called in almost immediately.
We get set up and the nurse runs through a couple of things.
She moves around my belly for a bit before she makes a satisfied sound and points to the screen. Lin melts next me. It's our baby.
"Shhhh!" The nurse says.
There's a very soft sound.
"That's the heartbeat!" The nurse says.
Tears begin to stream down Lin's face. We cuddle together and listen to our baby.
"They're beautiful!" Lin says. "I'm sure of it!" He adds.
