Lins POV
I open the note and begin to read.
Dear Alexander,
I am slow to anger but I toe the line,
As I reckon with the effects of your life on mine.
I look back on where I failed,
And in every place I checked,
The only common thread has been your disrespect.
I'm coming for you.
I gasp and whimper quietly. Pippa somehow hears me and comes out to me. She sees the note in my hand and reads it.
"Oh my gosh!" She gasps. "I'm going to check outside," she says. She begins to get up but I grab her wrist.
"I don't want you or our child getting hurt!" I whisper softly. "Don't go outside.
We deadlock the door before shutting and locking all the windows.
We go to bed and Pippa pulls out the letter again. She sits there and we both look at it and read it over and over again trying to make sense of it all. After what feels like hours I go to grab the letter and put it down. As I move it Pippa grabs it.
"Wait..." she starts.
The she gasps and looks horrified. "I recognise the writing. There's only one person this can be... Jason."
