Lin's POV
I sprint past the note and out the door. I see him.
I see Jason.
His black coat tails flying behind him.
I sprint as fast as my legs can take me. I need to catch up with him. I need him gone. He won't get away with this.
He turns a corner and runs towards the elevator.
He gets in.
I see him put his hand in his coat pocket.
He pulls something black and metallic out.
He spins around, his coat engulfs him as he spins around, raising the object at eye level.
It's too late before I realise what's happening.
Click-click...
"Oh, dear Lin. There's no point in chasing me. She's mine!" He scowls in a low voice.
Bang.
