First Person Pov
Antonio's gift ceremony had been long awaited by everyone in the town for years ever since the day he was born.
The rumors of "The last one was a bust" and "Do you think it'll fail like the last one?" echoing throughout the town for weeks.
I dislike gossip yet I couldn't help but feel pity for Mirabel as I remember the last gift ceremony, I wasn't able to attend due to a cold but the town bustled for months after that day.
This time I was attending because of my churro business and was bringing my little brother (s/n) (Sibling's name) with me since Antonio was always playing outside with him.
As I finished loading my cart I hurried over to my room to change "glad I did my hair earlier otherwise we'd be late" I quickly slipped on my (Festive outfit of choice) and checked out myself in the mirror "hmm not bad, (s/n)! We gotta go!" I grabbed my bag and pull it over my shoulder.
I pushed my cart through the door being cautious of my surroundings "(s/n) don't walk in the dirt you'll get your shoes dirty" I told my brother directing my cart toward the cobblestone road leading to the Madrigals bright and festive lights.
"Antonio's been super nervous about his gift, but I bet it'll be something awesome!" (s/n) told me running down the path "(s/n) wait up!" I said picking up speed.
When we arrived there was a short line waiting to get into the house, I checked my clock and it seemed like we were on time this time. As the line got shorter we were approached by a boy with brown curly hair wearing a yellow poncho "Welcome to la casa de Madrigal! Ready to see Antonio's awesome gift?" He asked with over the top enthusiasm
"Yeah! I bet it'll be the coolest one!" my little brother roared the both of them high fiving in the process, I quickly pushed my cart through the door to avoid blocking the entrance "tell Antonio good luck!" my brother called
"That was Camilo, he's Antonio's older brother and has fun shapeshifting powers!" (s/n) squealed in excitement "Yeah? Let's hope you aren't standing next to Dolores with that excitement" I unfortunately only knew the names of 3 Madrigals.
Well.. I guess 4 now, Camilo's a new one.
LATER
As Abuela began to announce that the ceremony had began it meant that I would watch Antonio receive his gift before causing a commotion.
It was more amazing than I could have imagined, it truly was magic watching Antonio's door form and as everyone headed up the stair I took that as my cue to start up the stairs. I heaved my cart towards the stairs and came to a halt in front of them
"Uhh Casita? Could you-help please?" the casita gave no response to my request.
Okay now this was embarrassing
"Weird that usually works" A voice behind me chimed
"Oh So then I'm not crazy" I said pushing my heavy cart to the side a bit before turning around
"I'd be happy to assist you" Camilo said as he came into my view.

AHHHHHHH I loved Encanto! It was an amazing movie and I want to watch it again -__-
