Mary remained completely silent while she was trying to think of any sort of excuse, but she figured that it was best to tell her mother the truth rather than attempting to lie. Taking a deep breath she looked over at her mother and told her where she had gone.
"I went over to Ezra's house," Mary said. "I wanted to talk to him,"
"Well, next time tell me where you are planning to go," Mary's mother explained. "That way I don't need to be worried about your safety,"
"Yes mom," Mary said as her mother kissed her on the forehead. "I'm going to head off to work now, behave yourself, and Ezra get to work," Kristina walked out of the house and closed the door behind her. While Ezra wanted to know where he worked he didn't think it was important. Right now the important thing was to figure out what the hell happened to them. He was about to say something to his cousin when he noticed what she was wearing.
"Um... Mary, I hate to be the bearer of bad news," Ezra said. "But your clothes have changed, since when do you wear emo clothes?" he continued "And when did you have stripes of pink in your hair?" Mary had the look of worry on her face as she turned toward a mirror once again but thankfully it had been in the dining room. Her eyes widened as she saw what she was wearing and that her hair was indeed pink. She yelped seeing that she had been wearing a black and white shirt with leather pants and a chain had been hanging by her side.
"Eep!" Mary exclaimed. "This looks terrible on me! I'm not emo and I never have been emo!" Mary turned toward Ezra and gripped his arms. "We need to fix this before we change completely!" Meanwhile, in a town hall, a woman watched everything through the water.
"Everything has transpired exactly as I planned," she said with a sinister smile.
"I will admit that I'm impressed, Shauna but how do you plan on keeping the brothers away from their wives?" Lucifer asked from a nearby mirror. Since he was inside her body, there were moments where the two of them would just talk.
"Oh trust me the memory block I placed on all four of them is unbreakable so no mushy-gushy romance is going to save the day this time," Shauna responded. Ever since the day she realized that the Winchesters appeared at Ferrum college she had kept watch over her former friends. Even after she was kicked out of school, she watched as Shela and Kristina moved on with their lives, and pretended that she never existed. Yet they saved the world again and again, and of all people, they married the Winchesters.
"It seems that you have done your research," Lucifer responded. "But that may not be enough, I want those girls dead," he continued. "We kill them and those pesky children will be too busy grieving to think about fixing things," While Shauna liked the plan. She had no idea how she would take out both of her friends without drawing unwanted attention.
"My lord, how would I do that?" Shauna asked.
"First, attack Shela and Kristina, they don't know about their abilities so they have no way to defend themselves," Lucifer explained. "Then go for the Winchesters, and what of the mentors? What have you done with them?"
"I've locked them all in the caverns beneath this castle, the children will never find their way down there," Shauna responded. The caverns below were full of twists and turns anyone would get lost down there. The place was also crawling with demons so the children would be outnumbered.
"Excellent," back in town Ezra and Mary had been trying to come up with a plan to keep an eye on their mothers. Mary would follow their mothers while Ezra would go find the mentors, there was no way that their parents would have forgotten the one mentor that helped them control their abilities.
"I don't like this at all, how did this even happen?" Mary asked as she snuck out of the house to follow her mother. She noticed her mom getting into a blue car and thought about hiding in the back seat but knew her mom would see her. So she decided that she would follow in her own car. "I don't know how to drive this but desperate times call for desperate measures," she said, starting the white car. "I hate this color, it should be black," she commented as she drove off. Her mother didn't work far as the drive lasted only twenty minutes before a large parking lot appeared, the building was big no doubt but it didn't look like any building Mary had ever seen. Maybe it was just the future architecture or something but it looked more like a prison than a normal office building. Mary followed her mother inside and caught a glimpse of a robot scanning everyone in.
