Chapter 10

A long chapter and some filler. Sorry for that but I PROMISE that this next chapter is going to be juicy! I've already started writing it and it should be done in the next few days. 

Carpal Tunnel Update: Still hurts but I have been laying off the writing a bit. It's pretty much under control now and I can resume a more regular writing schedule.

Chapter 10

For the next three mornings Andy continued to bring me breakfast. And yesterday he even spent breakfast with me at the studio, mainly because I requested him to. I told him it felt awkward for him to just drop it off and run.

What was more stunning was he made no advances towards talking about Alanna or the fact we had court on Friday. Although disappointingly enough he didn’t make any attempts to see me outside of our morning breakfast meetings. I wasn’t sure why it upset me. It was a good thing in a way. The warnings had stop since it had been several days since we had been seen together. But that didn’t stop me from wanting to spend more time with him.

I was falling in love with him all over again. I knew it. The more time I spent thinking about him the more I realized I was pining for him again. Each morning when he would leave, I would strain to stop myself from asking him to stay or to come back later. I would lay in bed late at night resisting the urge not to call in invite him over. I was so torn over this situation.

This morning I’d hoped that if I put a little more effort into my appearance that he would be more inclined to stay. The children had other ideas and after a crazy morning I still looked like a professional hot mess.

“Morning Madison.” I was out of breath from chasing the kids around.

“You okay Anna. You look… flustered.”

“I just want one morning to go smoothly. I don’t think I am asking for so much.”

“Maybe Andy would be willing to come over and help.” I turned and glared at her for even mentioning his name within an earshot of the kids. “What? You two have been awfully chummy here recently.”

“Having breakfast makes us chummy?”

“For like 3-4 days in a row, I’d say that counts for something.” She retorted.

“I am going to pretend you didn’t say that.”

“Anna your boyfriend is here.” Madison sang loudly.

I sighed and feel dramatically over against the side chair that I was standing behind. Madison was so dead set on Andy and I being a thing. I was going to pencil in on my schedule her demise.

“Morning Andy.” I rolled my eyes at Madison.

“Morning beautiful.” Oh… not the usual princess this morning. That made me smile.

“What can I do for you this morning?” I normally wouldn’t have asked but he didn’t bring in with him his normal Starbuck bag and coffee. He didn’t seem like he was here for breakfast.

“I ummm….” His hand rubbed nervously behind his back as he stared over towards Madison.

“Yes?” I coached him to spit it out.
