Dumbledores pov

My bags were way too large for such a small office.

'Stupid living conditions'

I set a pot of tea on the desk and finally kicked my legs up. Keeping an eye on that stupid Riddle kid is such a taxing task. He didn't even do anything but I was on edge the entire summer holidays thinking it was just mere moments before he saw me and tried to attack.

He has the entire school wrapped around his little finger. It's sickening. How my co-workers don't see what's happening is beyond me. Sure he's polite and an intelligent student, but it's all fake. He is just an evil child. I saw him throughout the holiday keeping his head generally low. But I knew his mind was going full steam.

I saw how the matron treated the kids there. Disturbing but maybe if she continued he will realise how he should act. She used some corporal punishment methods for all ages that she looked after at the orphanage. I saw how when he once spoke back when one of the kids was getting told off, she ripped up the skin on his hands with a metal rod.

It was rather present to see someone finally seeing him for what he is.

I shivered remembering the look in his eye when she had finished. Such anger. It reminded me a lot of Gellert. Still to this day, I can't truly bring myself to grieve. There is no way he was gone. It just wasn't plausible that he wouldn't have a failsafe in place. I left his body in that park hoping he would wake and see how his 'Perfect creation' had left him. When I heard that they hadn't recovered his body I almost cried in relief.

Everyone assumes that his body was just blown to smithereens. At least that's what I told everyone when I sat in that ministry hearing.

~minster hearing 10 years ago~

"He was talking about how his creation would cause a change this world never saw coming... I saw the opportunity and killed him. She is not responsible for her upbringing."

"You did the right thing bringing her here. She will not be given the death sentence but she will be put into Azkaban until we can be sure she is no threat to our world, we have no idea what he taught her but if we can scare her enough into the right ways maybe we could help her."

I nodded along. Gellert would hate me more if anything happened to his creation.

She sat in a chair, breathing only noticeable by the minuscule moment of her shoulders. she looked so peaceful, nothing like she was earlier. When she was cringing I ended up getting a couple of her tears in a vile without anyone noticing. The way her body went limp when she pass out was intriguing. Gellert would not approve of such weakness.

"Minister she is a child, Azkaban will destroy her." Said someone in the stands.

"Azkaban will teach her her place in this world."

"Sir if I can,  what of her mental health? Many go insane in that place. Would it not just help to mould her into the monster her father was?" Said another man. I think he might be Lord Rosier.

"If she is as perfect as her father said... She'll be fine. End of discussion. She will be in Azkaban until we can ensure she is safe to return to the world."

~present time~

As far as I know, my plans have never been working so well.

Three raps at my door pulled me from my thoughts.
