"There really isn't any words to describe the remorse that you feel when you lose someone you loved. Of course, you'll feel sad and angry at the world wondering why they took away the person whom you loved so much, but it doesn't really change anything.
You can't take back time. It's something that we wish we can do. Heck, even I wish I can take back time. You see, no matter how hard we wish for the clock to tick back, even for just a few seconds, it'll never come true.
I can tell you this, though. It gets better. I mean, everything in life gets better. Even if it is for one small millisecond. Enjoy it because times like those don't happen everyday.
Also, don't regret your choices, and don't blame yourself for the problems and mistakes of others.
They may not be with you physically, but I can assure you they're not leaving you just like that. They're still there. They're still with you.
Just know that even though you may be a loner for the rest of your life, like I am, that's okay. Also, if you can't bring yourself to move on, it's also okay.
They'll always love you, no matter how much you might make your life worse.
Thus, I like to live by this quote. It's pretty over-used and stupid, but it reminds me of the things that Alex's death taught me. It's by Dr. Seuss, and it helped me undestand the true meaning of losing a loved one.
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."
They're in a better place. I know that some of you want that "better place" to be in your loving arms.
That would be ideal, but you have to know that they're no longer suffering.
They're in paradise. They will forever be in paradise. They will finally be happy.
Thank you."
The crowd clapped as Ethan bowed. He wore his perfectly shaped smile on his face and waved his hand in his air.
This was his purpose in life, and with Alex's help, he was getting through it. He was going to be the best man he could ever be, even though Alex wasn't there by his side as he was beggining to become this man.
Losing someone is hard. I don't know that from personal experiences, but I know that it breaks a person. It breaks a person down and it tests them. You find out your weakest points, and your strongest whenever something bad happens, especially if it's directly to you.
I just want to say that you can get a good grade on this test. You can achieve an A+.
It's like writing an essay, for example.
Thinking of ideas and topics, it might not be easy. Constantly editing it to make it sound perfect is not easy either.
In the end, when you turn it in, you know that it's the best paper that you could've turned in.
Believe in yourself. You'll get through it.

Where are they now?
-
Jennifer:
She became a good friend of Ethan's, helping him in times of need. She quite her acting career and stardom at the age of 25, realizing that this business wasn't her cup of tea. She is now Ethan's assistant and Co-Director of the "Head up & Ego down" foundation that helps demote bullying and promote individuality.
-
Ethan:
Ethan now became a guidance counsellor for those who had just lost a loved one and who are also dealing with depression and guilt. He works with kids of all ages and now shares his story worldwide of Alex's death and his experience.
He visits her gravesite every week and talks to her like she's there sitting infront of him. Ethan also bought a house next to her gravesite. He's only 8 minutes away from his sweet, sweet Alex.
He never really moved on, but that's okay. He belives that Alex would have wanted it that way.
His new life goal is to finish Alex's bucket list and check off everything that she hadn't already checked off.
This also included "Walking down a runway" which Ethan did, but instead of being fully clothed he was dressed in a pair of undies as he walked down.
Let's just say, those pictures were uploaded on the internet and even if Ethan tried to delete it, many people (especially girls) have screenshotted it and saved it as their background on their computer.
Ethan hoped to rejoin Alex in paradise when the time comes, but for now he's making his mark on the world with Alex by his side.
