Yao stared at his hands, transparent, just like he was.

Should he really be surprised? This whole world was strange, should he be surprised that he had turned into a specter. Doomed to watch "Alfred" eat everything in has path.

Was Alfred really his name, or was it something he taken? Was his whole persona a lie?

Well, the one good thing to come out of this was Yao wasn't alone anymore. Alfred had a slew of victims. All of them at least humanoid.

Yao really wasn't surprised when he ran into Kirkland. He seemed like the type to stick around. And at least from the summary Yao got, Kirkland had stayed with his body before latching onto Alfred.

Kirkland didn't really seem to mind the fact that his body was food.

Yao ignored the stinging in his chest, and stared at Alfred. Yao just followed him, what else could he do? No one could see him, he couldn't interact with anyone. The only contact he got were with Alfred's victims. He would follow Alfred until his demise. And when the son of a bitch breathed out his last words, Yao would be there and laugh at his death, before he left.

A slight humming could be heard. If there was one thing Yao know learned about Alfred, beside his monstrous appetite, it was that he could never stay quiet.

"Hey!"

Yao tuned the conversation out, it was Alfred talking to his new victim.

Poor guy, hopefully he could die fulfilled.
