Dear Alfred,
I hope this letter makes it to you. I am sorry. Scratch that out
I apologize for- Don't include that.
I hope you will forgive me for the betrayal I have committed. I love you. You are my closest friend and ally. You have been with me when no one was. Please, I humbly beg for your forgiveness.
Sincerely,
Samurai, Kiku
Kiku stared at his letter. There was so much ink, it had started to bleed through to his desk.
He just had to write the perfect letter. He just had to explain this to Alfred. He just had to explain this well enough that Alfred would be forced to forgive him.
He truly was a coward.
Kiku grabbed the note. How could something he put so much effort into turn out this misshapen, this distorted.
He owed Alfred more than this pathetic note.
It wasn't right of him to hide all this from his crush-er best friend. Alfred deserved better.
How was he supposed to break this?
I am so sorry, but I've been lying to you for seven years. I'm actually Samurai.
Surprise! I'm one of those heroes you like so much. Do you want a picture?
Kiku let out a deep sigh. Hopefully, the answer would come to him, but in the mean time worrying about something that hasn't happened yet would just make him anxious and sloppy.
Kiku grabbed the note and crumpled it up. Without even looking, he through it in his trash can.
Maybe he should train to get his mind off this?
Yeah, Winter had suggested the idea of some team exercises.
