Blackheart took a big shot of whiskey by the bar. "How can you humans have your thirst quenched by these? The aftertaste is strong." "People like strong things", said Shigaraki. "You know what else I would like strong?", asked Blackheart. "An ally of yours. But there's none of that here, is there? And you wouldn't do any good yourself." Shigaraki grumbled and clenched his hand into a fist. "You say that, but in case you've forgotten, you have some pretty weak friends yourself, unless your final one can prove me wrong. If not, you'll just pretty much waste your last possible chance of taking out your worst enemy."

Blackheart glared at Shigaraki. As much as he'd hate to admit it, the villain was right. He couldn't send out Gressil, otherwise he'd lose one of his strongest allies. He needed someone who could beat the Ghost Rider. Hell, he needed an army of people like that. People who the Spirit of Vengeance had no chance against.

"If I were you, I would go after the girl", said Shigaraki. "Girl?", asked Blackheart. "Yeah. When he first had our fight with him, he calmed down as soon as that girl talked to him. It was almost as if he was a human again." "So he must really love this girl", said Blackheart, then he got another idea. "Does he feel this way for everyone?" "You kidding? We took his classmate hostage and he didn't lay a finger on us."

A malicious smile grew on Blackheart's face. "If I recall, he's a wanted man. This city doesn't tolerate vigilantes, after all. So imagine if their most wanted fugitive ended up right on their doorstep, and he couldn't do anything."

Blackheart looked up at the clock. "Get ready, Shigaraki. Tonight is going to be an entertaining one."

. . .

Izuku dipped a sponge into the bucket of water and scrubbed a spot on his motorcycle. Just as he finished, a pair of hands covered his eyes. "Guess who?" The greenette smiled. "Is that you, Kacchan?" "Deku!", whined Ochako. Her boyfriend chuckled and took her hands. He placed a gentle kiss on them and stood up to hug his girlfriend.

He told her about his quirk the previous night, and a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders upon doing so. Ochako wasn't even mad. She completely understood Izuku's reasons for keeping his quirk a secret. In conclusion, the two young lovers grew closer after that night.

"Cleaning your bike?", asked Ochako. "Yeah. Just thought I should keep an eye on it, you know", said Izuku. Ochako gave him a cheeky smile. "What I do know is you were putting on a bit of a show for me", she said while caressing Izuku's bicep. He blushed at his girlfriend's comment. "Maybe I should put on some shorts and a tank top and help you wash this hog", said Ochako seductively.

Izuku's whole body went completely stiff at hearing this. The thought of his lover in the outfit she had just described made him flustered. The girl giggled and placed a kiss on his cheek. "Why are you so cute?" Izuku playfully shrugged.

"Am I interrupting?", asked Carter, who walked out the shadows. "Just thought I'd come talk to Midoriya. Ask about his training and all." "What exactly is there to train for?", asked Ochako. "This", replied Izuku, who snapped his fingers and lit a tiny flame on his thumb. "Watch it, kid. Somebody might see you doing that", said Carter. The greenette shook his hand and extinguished the flame. "You're going to have to be even more careful when you actually turn into Ghost Rider. Heard nearly every hero is sending out search parties for him."

"Of course he'll be careful", said Ochako. "Because if he isn't, he's going to get into some serious trouble with me." Izuku chuckled. Carter could only smile at the couple's relationship.

"Well, you two should head to class. You can't go out there saving the day without learning how to do it first." Izuku and Ochako nodded and walked towards their school. Carter walked back into the shadows, where he suddenly transformed into his Ghost Rider form. He looked across the street, feeling a presence hiding in the distance. It slowly started to fade, and Carter reverted back into a human. He kept looking where the presence was, thinking about the potential threats looming down the horizon.
