Izuku's eyes fluttered opened as he was met with the surroundings of his room.
"Man, what happened last night? Why do I feel so dehydrated?"
Then it hit him. Izuku ran to a mirror to look at his face. "But, I could've sworn my face was..."
Then something clicked in his head. "Shit! Uraraka!" He quickly got undressed and put on his best casual clothes. Izuku chose a red shirt with black jeans.Izuku exited his room and ran downstairs. Once he was outside, he saw Ochako waiting for him.
He blushed as he looked at her outfit. Ochako was wearing brown shorts with a red t shirt that was covered with a grey jacket. Her hair was also tied into a ponytail."U-Uraraka! Hey, um, sorry I'm late." "It's fine Deku." Ochako looked at Izuku's outfit. "You look great." "Thanks! You too."
The two teens hid the blushes that were covering their faces. "So, should we get going?" "Hm? Oh yeah! Let's go!" Izuku lead Ochako to the school gates. "Deku!" "Yeah?" "Did you...?"
Izuku looked at where Ochako was pointing to see the bike from the junkyard waiting for them.
"Deku! Is this for me?" Izuku scratched the back of his head. Before he could respond, Ochako jumped on the drivers seat. But then she looked at Izuku embarrassed. "I-if you want to ride, then..." "No, no! It's okay. I don't know how to drive anyway." "You brought this bike here but don't know how to drive?" Ochako began giggling.
Izuku felt his heart flutter. Ochako's laugh. It is a sound he would do anything hear over and over again.
"Anyway, shall we go?" "Shouldn't we get helmets?"The duo went back to the dorms to retrieve any helmet they could find and returned to the motorcycle.
Ochako revved up the engine and began to drive. As they were driving, they both spotted a strange sight. The road had tire tracks and burnt remnants besides them.
"What do you think happened here?", asked Ochako. "Probably a quirk that got out of control", responded Izuku. That was a lie. On the inside, he was freaking out.
"So last night wasn't a dream?! I really did become that... that... thing! And that road? I did that?"
Izuku was snapped out of his thoughts when the motorcycle came to a halt. "Should we get dinner?", asked Ochako. Izuku nodded. "Seems like a reasonable choice." The teens entered the restaurant and found a table.
After sitting down, Ochako gave Izuku a concerning look. "Deku? Are you alright?" "Hm? Oh, yeah! I'm fine! Just deep in thought."
Silence hung in the air between the pair. Until Ochako broke it. "So, Deku, why did you ask me out?" Izuku was flustered. "Well, I, uh..." Izuku sighed. He decided now to come clean.
"Uraraka, for some time now, there's this strange feeling that I've been feeling. It always happened when I was around you."
Ochako felt her heart flutter. "Deku?" "Ochako, I think I... like you. Like, like like you." Ochako began blushing. "I get it. You don't feel the same." "Nonononono, that's not it! You just, caught me off guard, that's all!" "Off guard?" Ochako looked down and fidgeted with her fingers. "Deku, I... I like you too."
Izuku reached out his hand held Ochako's. "So, are we..." "I mean, we're already on a date, so... yeah?" Izuku chuckled, with Ochako joining in.The rest of the day went relatively well for the now couple. They continued their date and enjoyed each other's company.
The time came where the date had to come to an end. Izuku and Ochako walked to their motorcycle, their hands intertwined.
"Thanks for today, Deku. I had... fun." "Yeah! Same here." The couple looked into each other's eyes, both slowly leaning in for a kiss.
"Awww, how sweet." Ochako and Izuku turned their heads to see a person they were quite familiar with. Mr Compress.
"Too bad I have to ruin it." Before the two heroes in training could attack, blue flames nearly scorched them from behind, distracting them long enough for Mr Compress to use his quirk on them.
"And now, we head back to headquarters. Not bad with that distraction, Dabi." "Yeah, whatever." Mr Compress took out a marble and dropped it on the road. It transformed into a van. The villains climbed in and drove off to their base of operations.
