“Uh- Phil?”
Techno asks the air.
“What is it Techn-oh”
A man with a black and white striped hat, green shirts, green pants-
He really liked green.
“Who are they?” he asks, confused.
“They, are Lou,” he says directing his attention towards me.
“And that’s Spitha Soot.”
Phil ran at Spitha but I stepped between them.
He stopped inches away from me.
“Move kid, I wanna see my grandson.”
I stared at him, then remembered what Fidel wrote in her memory book.
I stepped out of the way, Spitha stared at me.
“I thought Sally took you far away from here.”
He looked at Spitha’s head.
“Where are your ears?”
They popped out of his hair.
Phil laughed.
“How- How do you know me,” Spitha asked, backing away from Phil, whose hand was previously on his shoulder.
“I met you before you could remember me, guess Sally did a good job at keeping you away from the insanity of L’manberg.”
Spitha looked at Phil and his eyes glazed over.
He ran at the older man and hugged him.
My heart broke, he had found his family.
I smiled and my own eyes glazed over as Spitha fell into an embrace from his grandfather.
“Your not gonna cry, right Kid?”
Techno asks, smiling down at me.
“So what if I am? He’s never had any immediate family that he hasn’t lost. I’m his sister.”
Technos laughed a bit as Phil began jabbering at Spitha.
“Who took care of you?”
“My sister.”
Spitha looked at me.
“Lou c’mere.”
I walked over to them.
“Hello sir, I’m sorry I couldn’t get him to you sooner. I didn’t know-”
He wrapped me in a hug.
“Thank you for getting him to me now Kid.”
I returned the hug to him and internally melted.
“Techno who are-”
