Chapter 2: Confrontation

Chapter 2: Confrontation

I took my time turning around, I didn't want to make eye contact with any of them. I knew that if I did I would automatically want to turn and run.

When I was fully  facing them, Carlisle was the first to speak, "First of all I feel that I should start off by saying thank you on behalf of my family and myself." Was it just me or did he seem hesitant to speak to me?

And then it hit me, he was afraid of me! My eyes widened. They were all afraid of me. Of course they would be terrfied, I just made the most powerful coven in vampire history flee!

"Oh My Gosh. Your afraid of me!" I began, and stammered back a little.

" Oh honey were not afraid of you." Esme cooed, causing me to smile slightly at her

Without even thinking about it I gave her a grin and a friendly, "Thanks Esme." A little gasp escaped through her lips "How do you know my name?"

Stupid, stupid, stupid! I rambled in my head over and over again. How do I answer that?

"Um..." I stretched " I_I" I stuttered not knowing what to say

"Well, why don't we start off with a few easier questions?" Carlisle saved me from my panick attack

I let out a deep breath in relief, but before I could get my breathing back to normal, Alice let out a huge gasp. Crap!

"Alice_" I was cut off by a huge force that came at me.

"Is it true? How is that even possible? Does that make you our_" She asked me a million words per second, but before she could ask the last part I stopped her.

"Alice!" I slightly hissed "Breath."

I was a little shocked when I heard a growl come from right next to me, and two strong arms had me restrained from the back. Jasper let out menacing growls at me, it was sweet that he was protecting Alice, but he was sort of terrifying me.

"Jazz, its ok. Jessica means us no harm." She beamed at me and then skipped over to hold Jasper's hand. You can always count on Alice to make you smile like an idiot.

"Can I please tell everyone?" She begged me from a few feet away. I turned towards her to realize that she was practically jumping up and down looking like a volcano that was moments from erupting.

I hesitated before answering her, "I think that it would sound a tiny bit less confusing coming out of my own mouth." I informed her

She gave a small pout making me giggle quietly, "That may work on more than half of the population of Forks, but I have become amune to that by now."

The minute that those words escaped my mouth I wished that I could have taken them back.

I looked around to see all of the Cullens looking at me confused.

"Don't worry. I'm not a stalker." I reasured them

"Aw come on! And it was just getting interesting!" Emmett complained

I laughed at his face "I may be amune to Alice, but, your face always cracks me up." I said giggling hystarically

"Whats that supposed to mean?" Emmett asked his smile greater than ever

"It means that you are the funniest person that I have ever met." I told him

I heard Rosalie let out a  terrifying hiss, "Rose, don't worry. I'm not interested. Plus, he's too old!" I shot a grin Emmetts way, and he returned it just as big as my own.

"How come you sounded so formal when the Volturi were here?" Jasper asked me

"Oh, thats just an act. The robes don't give you respect unless you show that you know how to play with the big dogs." I grinned, I was being way to casual.

" So how do you exactly know about all of us?" Edward asked me, I almost forgot that he was here. I turned to see him standing a few feet away from me; one of his arms around Bella and the other around Renesmee.

I sighed, "I guess that I knew this day would come sooner or later." I mumbled to myself, even though I knew that they could all hear me perfectly.

I frowned and looked around the circle that had formed around me, " Before I begin I want you all to know that I'm not here for a fight." I adressed them and tapped my foot against the dirt of the field.

"No offense. But what are you here for?" Bella asked me from her postion behind Edward

Her question took me by surprise. Why was I here? They didn't want me here.

"That's not true." Edward said sincerly

Oh, shit! I completly forgot! How could I be so stupid?

During my little mind chant Edward was smiling at me pleased, I stopped immediatly.

I straightneed up, it was buisness time. Edward, reading my mind, and Jasper sensing my mood, straightened up as well.

"All right. How do I explain this without you thinking that I am absolutly insane?" I began, Emmett cracked up at m words. But I maintained my seriousness.

"How about we start from the begining?" Carlisle chimed in

"Sure. But can we please do this somewhere else? This place still gives me the creeps." I shivered from the memory, and as I played back the thought, Edward let out a frightening growl.

I just shook my head, "I'll explain everything."

He nodded, "Lets go back to the house."

They all looked at me, wondering if I needed help getting back to the house.

"Fine. You all stand there while I beat you all back to the house." I smiled

"Do you know the way?" Carlisle asked

I laughed as I sprinted back towards the house, "I think I'll manage."
