"Yeah, that's not it," I whispered nervously, "I'm also from... um...a different world."
At that precise moment, you could have heard a pin drop.

Chapter 5: Air
"W-What?" Bella stuttered
"I am not exactly from here..." I stretched it out
"You mean like not from here right?" Jasper asked, speaking up for the first time
"No exactly," I answered "I'm from another world."
"You mean like Mars?" Emmett asked with a grin
I laughed, "Do I look like a freaky martian?"
"Not really." he replied honestly
"Then what do you mean by 'a different world'?" Edward asked frustrated
"I'm not sure. I still don't understand how it works." I replied
"So you just end up here?" Carlisle asked curious
"Pretty much." I smiled
I was once again tackled, but this time by a smaller force, "Alice." I giggled
"I can't believe that this is happening! So you were here for the first day of school for Bella, and when she went to prom, and when James was here, and when we lef_" she began but my hiss cut her off
I cleared my throat, "Sorry, touchy topic." I stepped back
Suddenly, Bella was in front of me with her eyes bulging of their sockets, "You were there too!" she gasped
I nodded
"How? So that means that you saw me when.." she trailed off
I just nodded and looked down, "I was there the whole time. Probably the most difficult time of my life. And the most horrifying time I have ever experienced." I whispered so quietly that she could barely here
"What do you mean?" she sniffled
"Can we please drop it?" I asked coldly
she flinched slightly at my words but obeyed.
I let out a sharp breath, and turned to walk out of the house.
"I'm sorry." I quietly said before walking towards the door
"Where are you going?" Alice asked appearing in front of me
"I need some air." I sighed
"Will you come back?" she whispered
I turned back around, and put on a small smile, "Like I could run away from you guys."
