'' What the hell was up with that guy? '' Jason asked as he pulled over in front of our house and got out.
'' You mean Taylor? '' I asked
'' Yeah him '' he responded
'' I think he thought you and me are dating. '' I said as I opened the door.
'' Illogical guy, I so much want to punch his face. '' he said in an aggrieved tone as we entered into the sitting room.
'' Whose face do you want to punch on your first day of school young man? '' my mum asked suddenly blocking our entrance.
'' Hi mum. '' I pecked her cheek and walked beside her
'' Just some random dude ma '' Jason replied as he also passed beside her.
'' Where is dad? '' I asked
'' Resumed work today. '' She responded as she sat down watching her movie.
'' Well that is pretty fast. So mum, what's for lunch? '' Jason asked
'' Absolutely nothing. '' She responded. Jason looked at me and back to our mum.
'' You've got to be kidding us ma. ''
'' Do I look like a joker to you son? '' I just decided to go up to my room and take a shower while I leave the two to bicker for a while.
Room, sweet room! My room welcomed me with its freshness and scent of orange. I really love orange as a colour and fruit. I dropped my bag and prepared to take a shower. After I was done dressing up, I walked downstairs only to meet the mother and son still arguing with each other.
'' Come on mum. '' Jason pleaded
'' Why don't we go out to buy something maybe we could make some new friends and also familiarize ourselves with the environment. '' I was trying to put Ab end to it.
'' Good idea Bella, take him for a walk. He seriously needs it. '' my mum responded and concentrated on watching her movie. I signal to Jason to let's leave and he obliged. We started walking, observing the environment.
'' It is really quiet here and less disturbing. '' Jason pointed out.
'' Yeah, I hope we make new friends anyway. '' I replied
After walking three blocks, we saw a boy and a girl. The boy seemed to be in a haste and walked in while the lady kept staring at us or let me say my brother, her eyes never really leaving his and my brother was mesmerized by her beauty, she waved at us and we waved back. She walked towards us.
'' Hi '' She greeted
'' Hello '' we responded
'' My name is Joy and you guys seem to be new. ''
'' Oh yes. My name is Bella, in short I prefer BB and this is Jason my brother. We just arrive in this city few days ago. ''
'' Okay, you guys are welcome. Have you find a school? ''
'' Yes. Redwood high school. '' Jason decided to chip in.
'' Really? That's the school we attend as well and by we I mean my brother and me. So I will see you guys tomorrow. ''
'' Sure. '' Jason replied and I nodded
'' Can I have your number? '' Jason quickly asked.
'' No p. '' Joy replied happily. What's with her? I thought inwardly but just smiled it off.
'' Alright bye. ''
'' Bye. ''
'' What was that bro? '' I asked as I faced him
'' What? It is not my fault that she looks beautiful and I collected her number. '' He shrugged his shoulder and I shook my head at his behaviour, guess Joy would not be leaving any sooner and I don't have to help chasing her.
