On a sunny day, the sun began to peek slowly through the vast blue sky, and the sound of birds chirping greeted the inhabitants of the earth in the beautiful morning.

Today is graduation day, which is the day a student named Jeon Jungkook has been waiting for has arrived. Even he had trouble sleeping last night cause he was waiting for this day to come. But this morning his eyes were very bright, he even woke up earlier than usual.

Everyone in the house is busy getting ready, especially Jungkook since he is the main character today.

The creak sound of the door opening, Jungkook's dad entered his son's room who was still busy tidying his uniform.

"You look so perfect already," said Dad, which still didn't make Jungkook move from in front of the mirror.

"Thank you Dad!"

"I can't believe my youngest son will graduate from school. You've grown up, Jungkook" Dad said as he approached and stood next to his son.

"Yes Dad, I'm not a kid anymore. Soon I will go to college. Then after that I will work, and make money. I will not bother you anymore. And also.. when the time comes I will marry someone I love"

Dad smiled at his son's words who already had a vision for the future plan.

"Yes, you are not my little kid anymore now. And you have to remember, I just want you to be happy in the future. I will not demand anything from you, your happiness is your family's happiness too"

Jungkook nodded and smile widely in response to his dad words.

"Alright I'm done. We can go now, Dad"

"Okay. Your mom and Namjoon already waiting for you"

The atmosphere in the school hall at this time was very crowded and many guests came from the families of students attending the year-end student graduation ceremony.

Jungkook's family sat on the chairs that had been prepared, while Jungkook gathered with other classmates to prepare for his graduation ceremony.

"Hi, am I late?"

"No, the ceremony hasn't started yet" Namjoon said.

Hoseok, who had just arrived, sat down next to his boyfriend. But there was still one empty seat next to him.

The graduation ceremony was about to begin. The principal of the school started to climb the podium and give his speech. Meanwhile the other students and guests listened intently.

But Jungkook almost every minute always turns his head to look back at where his family is.

"Mom, Dad, Namjoon hyung, Hoseok hyung... where is Jin?" He muttered as he looked around again.

After a few minutes the sound of applause and cheers filled the great hall. The principal had finished giving his speech.

The next event is the core of this graduation ceremony. All students were called forward one by one to the front of the podium to receive their high school diplomas.

But Jungkook seems to be getting restless, he still hasn't seen Jin in his family's seat row. Until it was time for Jeon Jungkook's name to be called. He walked to the front of the podium following the line. He tries to relax and stay focused on his graduation ceremony. He thought Jin came late, cause he knew Jin was very busy with his work lately.

After he received his diploma, the result of his hard work in school, he returned to his seat. His eyes only focused on his family behind who looked at him with emotion and joy. They are proud of him. But he is still not a hundred percent happy. He still feels something is incomplete.

The graduation ceremony was halfway through, but Jin still hadn't arrived. With an uneasy face, Jungkook still faithfully waiting for Jin. He thought there was no way Jin didn't come on his graduation day. A special day for him. He is still patient, and believes that Jin will come even at the end of the event.

1.5 hours have passed, the graduation ceremony has ended. Jungkook has gathered with his family again.

"Our Jungkookie has graduated! Congrats bro!" Namjoon said while hugging his only brother.

"Thanks, hyung"

"Congratulations Jungkookieee. I'm so proud of you!" Hoseok also hugged Jungkook who was still smiling with his bunny teeth.

"Jungkook, I didn't see Jin. Didn't you invite him?"

The mother's question made Namjoon and Hoseok release their tight hugs from the youngest.

"I did. But, maybe he's busy with his work"

Jungkook answering his mom's question with a gloomy face.

"Jungkook, it's okay.. Today is your graduation day, don't put on a gloomy face, honey.. You have to understand since Jin has a job" Mom said as she gently stroked Jungkook's head.

As if knowing that his son felt sad because of Jin's absence at the graduation ceremony, she tried to cheer up her son's mood again.

Then Jungkook nodded and smiled. But, it's fake. He just wanted to hide his sadness in front of his family. Even though he was really sad, Jin really didn't come.

Is Jin so busy that he can't spare even a little time? he thought.

He didn't need congratulations, he just wanted Jin to be there on his graduation day. On the day when he wasn't a highschool boy anymore. The day when he will begin to prove that he has grown up. He needed Jin right now, even if that person was only there for a second, he wouldn't be this sad on the graduation day he was waiting for.

However, he still had to smile and hide his disappointment.
