Chapter 9

-Halie's POV-
It's been a week or so since the school lock in drama with Dylan. Everything has been great since then. I mean people at school still treat me the same but Dylan has started talking to me again and at this point that's all that really matters to me. So basically I'm happy with my life but Whenever I'm happy with life theres always something or someone that gets in the way and in my case it Is Ariana. GRRRREAT.

I picked up my tray of food at the cafeteria and turned to find a table, I saw Jack waving at me enthusiastically so I headed towards him, when suddenly I fell to the ground. I rolled over to see that Ariana and her bitches were standing over me laughing and then I realised Most of everybody was laughing. I felt so embarrassed. I looked towards Dylan and he just stared at me. He didn't even bother to do anything in order to help me instead he just avoided making eye contact with me . I don't know what got to me more everyone laughing or dylan not showing any caring attitude. Well You can't expect much from anyone these days because In the end everybody disappoints you.

Suddenly, I felt cold water being dropped onto me just when I thought it couldn't get worse. I got up to leave as I had had enough but jack pulled me back and whispered
"Don't run away from your problems , she's bullying you for no reason? Well then give that bitch a reason"
I realised what he was saying was the truth. Bitch wanna hate on me for nothing. She want to start fights. Well two can play this game. I grabbed some ice cream and shoved it into ariana's face.
"How dare you touch me you little bitch!!" She screamed "I'm going to get you"
I started giggling at the sight . Believe me it was hilarious to me.
"Oh so you think this is funny" she questioned as she walked towards me in anger and slipped over on my food on the floor from when she tripped me.
At this point everyone was laughing and I was pretty proud of myself . I looked at Dylan in hope of him making eye contact this time and he did . He smiled at me ;it was the smile your parents give you when they are proud of you. I instantly smiled back and then turned to thank Jack.
"I will get you back for this you Whore" Ariana screamed as she ran out of the cafeteria.

-next lesson-

-Dylan's POV-

I was sitting so bored in lesson , i swear I keep looking at the time every 5 minutes and It actually feels like time is going backwards . Why can't this be over already. I was currently in Maths the most irrelevant subject of all time. Literally, when Am i going to need pythagorus or logarithms? Oh yeah thats right. Never!

"School dance is next week" I heard my teacher remind us as we came to the end of the class finally. I've never really been into these school dance things to be quite honest. I dont really see the hype. Honestly, my nan throws get together that are more enjoyable than one of these school dance things. Besides every year they always have the same 10 shitty songs on replay and there are always them snobby girls that try grinding on every other guy. The only reason I went to any of these ever was because Ariana would always drag me with her but I always ended up standing near the food where I belong. With my true love . But anyway back to the point.
" so you want to go to the dance or not" I ignored Ariana as she asked me . She clicked her fingers in front of my face. I never really liked her she's always been one if them girls that would open their legs to you if you gave them 2 seconds of your attention.
"Hellloooo are you listening to me?"
" no not really" I replied which she replied to by punching me playfully on the arm.
" fine then. I'll make you regret it, besides there's no one better than me in this school for you to go with anyway." She claimed .
I thought about what she said and maybe there is someone better than her. But I wonder if she will go with me. I might actually consider going to this stupid thing but first I need to make sure that Halie will go with me.
But I want to surprise her. I want to make this special for her. And then I suddenly thought of the how to get her.
