"Some people won't be happy until they've pushed you to the ground. What you have to do is have the courage to stand your ground and not give them the time of day. Hold on to your power and never give it away."
-Halie's POV-
It's been a whole week since college started and I must say everything's going exceptionally well. I've settled in well, I'm not the most popular girl but at least im not the worst. Jayden has become really close to me, turns out he was gay but he has become my best friend. I haven't talked to Elena much this whole week. It seems like she's too busy with me with some girl called Ariana. I haven't really met Ariana but I've seen her around. She's always glued herself to Dylan and her voice is so high pitched it hurts my feelings, but looking over that she's really pretty. It's been a week and nearly every girl wants to look like her. As for Dylan? I haven't really talked to him much, praise the Lord for that.
As I was thinking, I didn't realise my door room open and someone walk in until I felt someone sitting down onto my bed. I looked to see it was Mason and I instantly smiled.
"Someone's in a good mood" I smiled and nodded. I don't know why I was tis happy before 9:00am, because one thing I learnt was never trust anyone who smiled before 9:00am.
"Now, get up and get ready for college" He said pushing me off my bed. He laughed proud of himself and I just rolled my eyes at him as he smirked at me.
"Okay, fine get out." I commanded as I shooed him towards my door.
I walked in to the bathroom in a daze. Ice cold water gushed out of the shower giving my numb body a titanic spank which was not pleasant at all. I conditioned my hair and brushed my teeth humming our favourite song, I mean me and my brother's, which is "Aint it fun" by Paramore. I rinsed my hair and opened the door just after all that banging on it by someone. It was Mason. Not that I expected anyone different.
"Yes, how may I help you, peasant." I questioned him looking up at him.
"Oh, I was wondering, do you have any feelings for that Jayden guy because you've became really close to him" He said looking worried. I chuckled at his statement.
"No, Mason, he's my best friend, besides he's not really into my gender of people." Mason ohed at this and the worry on his face disappeared.
"No one is good enough for my Halie" He said. I smiled and punched him lightly on the shoulder and moved him towards my bedroom door once again as I noticed I was still in a towel.
After I was ready I stared at my reflection on the mirror happy with what I chose to wear and made my way downstairs and out my house waving goodbye to my mum and making my way into the car where I met my brother again.
I walked towards the big building that I am used to by now, but this time it was different. For someone reason everyone was glaring at me and making disgusted faces at me. Some even called me names such as Slut and what not. I chose to ignore it but it was getting harder the more I walked further. Across the corridor I caught a glimpse of Dylan and he smirked at me and his face told me 'don't mess with me bitch'. I realised this was all something got to do with him. That prick. I followed him as he walked at a quick pace alone.
As I reached him I saw him walking into the disabled toilets. Without thinking I followed him into there and noticed him just standing as if he was expecting me. He smirked at me again. Dear lord, he is asking to be killed.
"Well, I see you've noticed the change, I must say I didn't expect it to go this well." He said as he chuckled. I scrunched my face in a disgusted way.
