Chapter 6

-halie's POV-
I was making my way over to maths. Monday mornings really annoy me I just can't deal with them. I've been getting really cute red sticky notes every day for a week now. At this point I really want to know who it is. But I'm not going to let that bother me, all I know is that someone is really that sweet to go through the effort to make my day better.
"Halie wait up" I heard a familiar voice call me from behind. I smiled instantly and turned around to meet Mason.
"Yeah.." I said.
"I'm going out after school and mum said she won't be home so you have the house to yourself till 9 also I can't drive you home today I'm sorry but I have a life too"
"Oh it's cool I don't mind have fun idiot" I joked.
"Will do" he smiled and walked away.
The smile instantly went off my face as I saw Dylan coming from around the corner. I instantly rushed inside the classroom and took a seat in between 2 people so that I could avoid any contact with him.
The lesson finished quickly shockingly and I rushed out as usual being one of the first people out. As I turned the corner I bumped into a brown haired boy. He didn't look familiar. Plus he looked lost.
"I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going I.."
"It's okay it's my fault" I cut in as he smiled at me. He was really attractive.
" I'm Jack Gilinsky. I'm new here. I moved here today with my friend Jack."
"That's really cool I can show you around if you want and where is this Jack" i asked.
"He went to the toilet. You'll probably notice him he's really loud"
I had free period next and apparently so did Jack and Jack . I met the other Jack he was really sweet we got along really well. We spent the rest of the day getting to know each other and I genuinely felt happy around them both.
"So where are your other friends?" Jack Johnson asked.
"Well to be honest I have one other friend here. This guy called Dylan technically bullies me and has made my social life terrible so I'm basically considered a loner" I replied being truthful.
I looked up at both of them and they looked sorry for asking that question. I smiled at them assuring them that I don't give a shit. And then we carried on walking . Earlier today I asked them if they want to come to my house after school which they agreed to so that's where we were heading at the moment.

-Jack Gilinskys POV-
I really like Halie. She seems like such a nice person. She told us both all about Dylan and everything he has done. She didn't deserve this. I've known her for a day and I feel like she has been my bestfriend for ages. Even Jack likes her . That must mean something considering he's very picky and takes time before he accepts people to be his friends or as he calls it ' worthy'
We were all sat in Halie's living room watching The amazing Spider-Man 2. It was a fun first day today. I looked over to see Halie and Jack play fighting and I smiled to myself. They looked so happy. I honestly can't wait to meet this Dylan guy and her so called 'friend' Elena and that Ariana girl. I don't even know these people and I dislike them already.

-the next day-
-still jacks POV-

I walked into school with Jack and I saw the most beautiful girl ever. She had green eyes and red hair that were slightly curled. I must know her. I was pretty confidence with myself so I walked to her. Jack walked in the other direction to meet Halie.
"Hey I'm Jack" I said smiling at her. Wow she looks even better up close.

" I'm Lydia" she replied smiling up at me.

-Halie's POV-
Jack was talking to Lydia. I've never really spoke to her properly but she seems like a really nice person. Jj was currently talking a lot of bullshit complaining about everything he sees. I love him already. He reminds me of me.
"I have science you?" I said. Gilinsky walked off with Lydia so it was just me and Johnson.
"Same" he said in a happy tone as we walked towards science. Ariana is in this class with me and so I Dylan. Ugh why must this be torture. Jack took a seat next to me.
"What's a pretty boy like you doing sitting next to a troll like that." Ariana said to Jack in a flirtatious way.
"Who said I was sitting next to you?" He replied instantly earning oooohs from the class. Arianas mouth went into a o shape as she seemed hurt from his comment.
"You made a mistake saying that, and being friends with her was a even bigger mistake. No one likes her she's a low life. Elena was right for leaving her I mean who wouldn't?. Even you will leave her in a couple of weeks when you realise who the better people at this college are. "
All those comments hurt me. I can't believe I let her get to me again. I was trying so hard not to let these people ruin my life anymore. But it's so hard when you're surrounded with people that hate you. And what if she's right? What if the jacks do leave me. I mean look at them. They are gorgeous. They're amazing and they're funny. Everything I'm not. I couldn't take it the whole class was laughing at me at this point. I got up and left without thinking twice.

-JJs POV-
I can't believe someone could even say all these things. This is all my fault maybe if I didn't retaliate like that Ariana wouldn't have said all these things about Halie. All I know is that she's upset and it's my fault. Halie got up and left and I looked up at Ariana seeing her smirk. How can someone be so heartless. I've never met someone this bitchy.
" I'm sorry to burst your bubble , but all of that. You just say that to make yourself feel better about yourself. Halie is a lovely person but you're too much of a hoe to realise that. And FYI I can already tell who the better people are and its defo not you. And no one likes Halie . You think that's gonna make me hate her . No I'm not like that she's better than you" I said to Ariana. She looked shocked as she should be. I got up making my way to the door when Dylan barged into me. Oh great not another cunt.
"You're making the wrong choice. Everyone hates her she's useless." He said to me.
"Hmm that sounds like 50 shades of I don't give a fuck." I replied as I pushed him out of my way.

I went to find Halie. I kind of had a feeling she would be in the girls toilet considering that's where every girl goes when they need to cry at school. So I made my way there. I didn't really care so I went in because it was lesson time and everyone was in lesson so no one would notice me being in there.
"Halie i know you're in there "

" go away. I don't wanna talk to anyone, you're gonna leave me some day anyway like everyone does ."

"Halie I would never leave you. I know I've known you for a 2 days but trust me you mean a lot to me. Please come out. I honestly don't care what anyone says. I'm not going to be like Elena and leave you . You don't deserve that." As I finished I heard the lock unlocking and she slowly came out. Halie ran to me and hugged me and I instantly hugged back.
"Thanks Jack. I'm sorry I caused all this drama"
" it's not your fault " I said stroking her hair. I don't ever want to see her like this again. It hurts me. But I know I can't change reality. However I can be there for her all the time and look out for her and that's exactly what I'm going to do.
