Chapter 10

First of all I am so sorry. Its been forever. But ive been really busy . I had exams and then when my holidays started I went to Italy and now that I'm back and Im exam free I will be writing again. And hopefully updating and finally finishing this story. Again im so sorry and omg look how many view this has now. It makes me so happy. Thank you all . I love you.

Chapter 10
Mason's POV

Everything is so great atm. I dont know what happened between Halie and Dylan but they are getting along great now. He even comes round our house so often and not for me but for her. Im not sure what happened since they got locked in the school together but whatever happened its for the best. My life has been so calm without them two arguing all the time after all Dylan is like a sibling to me and Halie is actually my sibling and I love them both.
Also to add to that Halie has been so happy lately. She actually looks happy in school as well.

Halie's POV
So its Monday and I'm currently waiting for Jack to come collect me since he is my ride to school. Mason had to leave early and There is NO way I am waking up that early on a weekday. Since Jack is always late I decided to go through my phone. There were 2 new messages . Yes So many. I have too many friends I know.
They were both from Dylan and they read:
"Hey Halie I was wondering would you like to go out with me today in the evening?"
"Halie you're meant to answer. That is how conversations work."
I smiled slightly at the second one and decided not to reply just because of his impatience.
7 minutes later Jack showed up and I threw my bag into his car trying to show the bad girl attitude that I so clearly do not have. He chuckled.
"I'm so sorry, I was trying to be on time but Jack here wanted to stop at mcdonalds and get some pancakes. I couldn't refuse."
I got into the car and stole the pancake from Jack G and started eating them as Johnson started to drive.
"You know If I'm late im going to kill you guys."
"Says while eating pancake"- Jack G replied in a sarcastic tone which I replied by throwing the remaining pancake at his face.

As we pulled up into the car park of the school. I saw Ariana pulling her car in as well. I decided to ignore her but ended up walking past her anyway when I saw her paying some homeless looking man a 10 dollar bill.
"Here, go find yourself a different parking lot to die in"- she uttered in a harsh tone.
I rolled my eyes and continued to walk towards the school building.

The whole day passed really quickly and I decided to try to find Dylan and tell him I agree to going out with him today as long as he buys me ice cream. What? You win some you lose some right?

I headed towards the boys locker rooms because thats where he usually is after school. I hated the boys locker rooms. They were absolutely vile and smelt so bad. Like you could literally smell it from afar. I walked in to see Dylan. I decided to surprise attack him so I snuck behind him and put my hands over his eyes.
"Oh Jack, I had no idea you felt this way about me" Dylan said sarcastically to which I smiled.
" so Dylan I decided I will go with you if you buy me icecream at some point today."
"Who says the deal is still on. I messaged you twice. That took some of my pride away you know. Double texting and then getting ignored. Ouch you done did me wrong." dylan replied with a fake pout.
"Well then I guess I better go" I said as a joke and turned to walk away as I felt his hand pulling me back into him.
"Who said you can leave Dye?" He asked looking into my eyes while smiling slowly.
He started to lean in really slowly and I felt myself leaning back. Our lips connected and started moving in sync. I dont know why this is happening and why I'm allowing it to but oh well. The kiss although slow and lingering , had a fire a longing of its own. He pulled away as did I . I wasn't sure my heart had pounded this hard in my life before.
"Pick you up at 8" He stated more than asked while he still had both his arms around my waist holding me against his chest. It felt great to be this close to him. I could still feel his breath against my face as he talked.
I was just about to reply when one of the guys in the locker room came round the corner and interrupted .
"Hey Dylan are Y-" he stopped and looked at dylans hands and then continued again.
"Nevermind I'll ask greenberg"

As he left we both turned to each other and smiled. I couldn't resist leaning in again as did he.

Dylan's POV

I have everything planned out. This is going to be a perfect night. I don't really know if Halie considers this a date so I'm not going to push into that yet. Im so glad she said yes. At first I thought she wouldn't say yes and my plans will just completely fail but Now that everything is running smoothly nothing can ruin this night.

I pulled up into her driveway it was 7:46 and I know I'm early but I couldn't help it. I really was excited for this. I don't usually take girls out like this but I felt Halie deserved this.

I waited about 5 minutes and then went to knock at her door and Mason opened. I talked to him about life in general until Halie came down.
As she came down I couldn't keep my eyes of her. She looked beautiful. My mouth literally dropped. As she came out the door I helped her get into the car and then I took my seat.
"You look amazing"
"I could say that about you too" she replied.
I drove off to the place that I had organized as she waited in patience.

The journey wasn't that long and even if it was I didn't realize because we talked about a lot of things and memories that we had as children.

My car pulled into a parking lot Near a building and then I quickly ran out my car to her door to guide her to our spot.

This is going to be great. I can feel it.

Halie's POV

"Are you up for some walking" he asked as he locks our hands together. I nod as he leads me behind the building to reveal a field. We walk for about 6 minutes on a path and then we come across a hill with a tree. We turn towards it and behind the tree a cute picnic is set up. Complete with my favorite food: Nandos and fruits and Two ice cream sundaes. Hanging right on top of the picnic were some lights. It looked breath taking.
"Dylan this is beautiful" I attacked him with a hug which he returned really quickly.
"You really like it?" He asked nervously.
"Its perfect" I replied with a hug smile on my face.
I eagerly sat down on the blanket and waited for Dylan to open up the food. He sat down and we both dug into our delicious dinner.
After we finished . Dylan started to clean up the food which of course I helped with. We spent a long time lying down on the blanket talking about everything and anything. I turned to face Dylan as did he and he pushed my hair slowly to the side of my face. It sent a tingly feeling through my body which felt great. I smiled at him and he leaned in for the third time today. This kiss wasnt like the one before. It was passionate and aggresive. Dylan slowly pulled me on top of him during the kiss. Sparks were igniting all through my body. And in this moment I never wanted to leave this spot but eventually all good things come to an end.

After another couple of minutes of staring and talking Dylan got up from his spot and put a hand forward which I happily grabbed as he pulled me up.
"Come I have one more thing"
"Dylan theres no need for more everything you've done so far is more than enough"
He ignored my comment and started to guide me towards the building again and this time we went inside. It was an abandoned building but as we stepped in  the lights turned on to reveal balloons and red flower petals everywhere and right in front of me in big writing was the question.
Will you go to the Dance with me?
I was speechless. Everything was so beautiful and perfect and no words were coming out my mouth. I turned to face him and once again attacked him with a hug and then soon after pulled away and nodded.
He smiled as he pulled me in for another hug. This day couldn't have gone any better and on the bright side I even got ice cream. Remember when I said you win some you lose some? I guess this was a win for me after all.
