-Halie's POV-
Dylan sat down on the not so spare seat (anymore) next to me.
"Are you lost" I unintentionally spoke in an insulting tone. Oops! Well done Halie, Well done. This isn't going to end well i thought for the 100th time today. Knowing him he will make a big deal out of it. But instead he just smiled. Wait. what? Why? Is he feeling okay?
"well, look who it is, by the way nice to see you too." he replied to my rhetorical question in the most drastic way possible. I don't know who he thinks he is but he should just stop.
"Please stop talking, your voice is giving me a headache" I stated attempting to get him to stop communicating with me. I felt so confident saying that. The sort of confidence I've never felt before, it felt great.
"You're going to regret this Dye" Dylan whispered as his grin disappeared from his face.
"HAVE YOU BOTH GOT SOMETHING TO SHARE WITH THE REST OF THE CLASS" Mr stone practically yelled into Dylan's face making me chuckle.
"Oh nothing, Halie was just flirting with me while I was trying to get her to stop and pay attention to the number thingys on the board." Dylan replied making me go red from embarrassment as the whole class stared at us. If this is what a bad first impression feels like, I know I'm screwed.
"Well Ms Dye, Mr Sprayberry is right; leave the flirting for later and pay attention or your grades will reflect on your behaviour and effort." Mr stone said sounding disappointed.
After what seemed like forever maths was finally finished. I rushed towards the door of freedom from Dylan and algebra. I walked down the corridor but I bumped into Dylans friend Jayden.
"Sorry, I didn't see you there" He appologised making me smile.
"No Its totally fine." I replied to his appology.
"I'm Jayden you must be Halie, Mason's sister" He was really attractive and I'm usless at socialising with guys so I didn't exactly know what to do other than stare. I noticed him sticking out his hand for me to shake so i quickly grabbed it.
"Yes I am" I said with the biggest smile on my face.
"Nice to meet you" -Jayden
"You too" I smiled
We stood there and talked for a while until the bell for the next lesson rang.
"well see you around" he said as he turned to walk away. I instantly smiled ad said bye too as I walked towards my next lesson. I guess college isn't going to be as bad as I thought it would be.
-Dylan's POV-
As I came out of maths I saw Halie with Jayden?
What the hell. First she acts like a bitch to me and now shes talking or even flirting with my friends? She definitely knows how to piss someone off. It's a good thing I know Jayden is gay so I know nothing will go on between them two.
Halie's always been som perfect In fact I don't think I've met someone like her before. Me, Mason and her used to be best friends until we were 5 and then after her dad left she completely changed and forgot about me and she even started to hate me.As we grew older and I became really close to Mason I started developing feelings for her. She got me feeling some type of way, but all she did was zone me out and treat me like I didn't matter. Up until 2 years ago I had feelings for her but then I saw her making out with another guy. The same guy that always bullied me. That's when I realised she really doesn't care and it broke my heart but I stayed strong and moved on. You know? Conceal don't feel. From that day forward all my feelings turned to hatred. However as much as i want to hurt her and make her feel what I felt I couldn't because I didn't want to hurt Mason in the process. He is like an Older Brother to me and I never want to loose him ever. BUT nowI can get my revenge , I can finally win this game she started. Her being in the same college as me made life a lot easier for me and I promise to myself from this day froward I will make her life hell. After all I came to win.
