Halie's POV

"Wake up Halie" I heard my mum say as she attempted to wake me up. Today was the first day of college and I really do not want to go there. I hate school and now I have to go college after I just finished school? I didnt choose this life. I was born out of no where , forced to go to school and now am being made to go college? C'mon what if i wanted to be a duck.

"Rise and shine" she said once again trying to wake me up.

"I dont rise or shine"

I replied as i decided to put the energy of 2 suns to get out of bed before I get a lecture on why i shouldnt be late on my first day and how Im supposed to make a good impression.

The only pros of this is my  best friend is going to the same college as me.On the other hand I dont know what is worse; having to be in the same college as my brother Mason or having his annoying best friend Dylan in my grade.

I was ready in less than 30 minutes since i really didnt care and I was waiting for Mason so he can drive us to College.

"You'll be fine today, go out, make new friends" I heard my mum say to me.

"I dont need new friends, I already have 2" i replied sarcastically as I thought of socialising with people.

"c'mon leggo you're making me late" Mason shouted from outside the door. I'm making him late? I'm the one that was waiting for him. Oh well. I picked up my bag and got ready for what ever was coming my way at this place they call college.

"Halie just go out enjoy make new friends and stay away from Dylan, I know that's the thing you're most worried about." Mason explained to me trying to be a good brother. Me and him have always been close since our dad left us when I was 5 and he was 7. He was always there for me and I'm sure I Will always be there for him. However that doesn't stop the endless argueing and stupid fights we get into on a daily basis but I'm glad that if I have to be stuck with a brother, its him.

"Thanks and I don't understand why he had to come here out of all the colleges, I really can't stand him but I will try my best not to rip his head off" I replied thinking about that devils spawn.

Mason just smiled at me as we got out of his car, he left as soon as he saw his friends , leaving me alone in this unknown place. Great this is exactly what I needed.

I've been trying to figure out where to go and which way is what for the last 10 minutes and nobody here is willing to help. Oh how welcoming. "halie?" I heard my name being called from behind me. A smile automatically made its way onto my face as I realized it was my best friend Elena. I rapidly turned around and was greeted by  her. She has brown hair that go up to her waist with perfect curls and she has the most beautiful green eyes.

"OMG, I missed you so much" she screamed probably making everyone notice us.

"Elena we were together yesterday that's not a very long time" I replied in an emotionless tone.

"Whatever" she said as she rolled her eyes and walked towards places like she had everything in control and knew where she was going. To my surprise we actually ended up in the right classroom.

This is probably going to be the longest hour of my life. Maths is so boring. When am I ever going to have to find the X to the Y or when is Sarah ever going to buy 56 watermelons? and this teacher why is he so emotionless. He literally talks through his nose. I thought this couldn't get worse but 5 minutes into the lesson Dylan walked through the door.

"You are late Mr sprayberry" Mr what's his face practically screamed into Dylan's face. Okay maybe he's not so bad after all.

"A wizard is never late ,nor early he arrives precisely when he means to" Dylan replied with one of the lamest excuse of all time.

"Sit down and don't be late to my lesson again or the consequences will be harsh" Mr Stone shouted.

I started examining the classroom to find that there's only a spare seat next to me and some guy across the classroom. I felt myself panick and hoping that he would go to the other guy. But to my luck I saw him walking towards me with the stupidest grin on his face.

This is not going to end well.
