Your rest period was short lived and fleeting. Not only a day later you were pulled into another game with the Trapper. Just as Laurie suggested, the killer didn't seem to harbor an Obsession anymore. Instead, he was more determined on keeping Nea trapped in the basement. You and the others were able to fix enough generators while Trapper was preoccupied patrolling around her. Once again, like Laurie mentioned, the Obsession switched.

Maybe you had a chance then?

Sadly, your group had to leave Nea behind when the exit gates were powered. Whatever she had done, it really pissed the Trapper off!

You all apologized profusely when she returned to the campfire.

"It's no big deal," shrugging, a smirk covered her lips. "I deserved it."

"What did you do?!" Claudette tutted as she patched up the slices on Nea's ankle.

Smirking even wider, she bragged. "I made him step on his own traps a bunch of times. It was worth it!"

Groaning, Claudette rolled her eyes and you gave a small laugh. If only you could be that brave and nonchalant when facing the killers. Though Nea and Claudette had been here far, far longer than you. It made sense that bravery would come with multitudes of time.

Sighing, you got up and stretched your arms towards the sky. Exhaustion rolled over you like a freight train. The previous wounds from Trickster's knives were affecting you worse than you thought they would.

"I think I'm going to turn in for the night," you yawned, casting the two girls a meek smile.

"Ooh, going to visit Dwight?" Claud stopped wrapping bandages around Nea's leg and wiggled her brows at you.

"Whaaaa?" Nea's eyes widened as a big grin spread on her face. "Is something going on with (Y/n) and Dwight!"

"N-no-!" you tried to cut in but Claudette giggled.

"Oh, yeah!" shaking with laughter, she wrapped a free arm around her stomach. "I've never seen Dwight get so handsy! They left my cabin together last night!"

A series of "oohs" and "ahhs" were coming from Nea. She clapped her hands together and whistled suggestively.

"I didn't peg you for that type, (Y/n)!"

"I'm not!" flustered, your hands balled into fists and you turned away from them. "Nothing happened between me and Dwight!" Crossing your arms, a harsh blush covered your face. Sure, Dwight was handsome and you did let him hold your hand a lot but that didn't mean anything!

"Of course not!" the girls giggled again and you realized they would never believe you no matter what you said.

Groaning, you threw both hands in the air. "I'm going to bed!" Storming off, their laughter began to fade behind you. They could assume whatever they wanted but your relationships were no business of theirs! Besides, all you could think about was the soft, warm cot in your cabin.

With all the small sacrifices you'd made you were beginning to build somewhat of a normal life here. Nothing simple was off limits so you had gained a mini fridge to keep foods you loved, a fluffy wool blanket, and soft white fairy lights to hang from the ceiling. Old generators littered the fields surrounding you and, being the crafty gal you were, you decided to drag one over and fix it up to power your cabin. Some of your neighbors had even begun to follow suit. Hopefully they were living much more fulfilling lives now that power was running through the little community.

All you could see as you flung your cabin's doors open was the cot nestled in the back corner. A short nap, that's all you needed!

Plopping down on the blankets, you were surprised to hear the crumpling of paper.

"What the-?"

Reaching underneath yourself, you grasped the corner of something flimsy. Pulling it free, you held the square object up. Fear pierced through you as you realized what it was. A ticket. But not just any ticket. This was for the front row seats of NO SPIN'S world tour.

How in the hell did it get here, though?

Another paper was attached and you removed it with trembling hands. The words, "See you soon," were scrawled in fancy cursive lettering, a tiny heart following.

Ji-woon

It had to be. But how did he get here? You had just assumed the killers could never enter the survivor camp but you didn't know for sure...

A new fear set your heart pounding and you could hear the sound of blood rushing in your ears. A clattering sounded outside your cabin and you jumped ten feet in the air. Hopping off the cot, you burst through the door and out into the open. Your chest was heaving with breaths and you whipped your head from side to side.

Jake was outside of his cabin across the way and he jumped to attention when he heard the commotion.

"(Y/n)? What's wrong?" The survivor had been fiddling with a toolbox and dropped it when he saw tears streaking down your face. Running over, he put both hands on your shoulders. "Hey! Hey! What's up?!"

"Di-did you see anyone go in my cabin?"

He shook his head before adding quickly, "No! But I was in a game up until a few minutes ago!"

"Can killers come into our camp?" you continued fretfully, bracing yourself on Jake's arm.

"What?!" widening his eyes, he raised both brows. "Not that I've heard of! Did you see something?" A layer of fear was beginning to show on his face.

You shook your head and said, "No, but I found this in my cabin." Holding up the paper, you shoved it at Jake.

"What's that?" snatching it away, he held it at both ends and scrunched up his face. "Front row seats...?"

"It's a ticket I bought back in the real world. F-for Ji-woon's concert."

"Well that just sounds like an offering." he mused, handing the thing back to you. "Stuff like this pops up all the time so it's likely not the real thing."

"But, but someone had to have left it in my cabin!" you reasoned.

"Hmmm," tapping his chin thoughtfully, he gave you a look. "I'm not really sure if there's actually rules against the killers coming here." He cast a reassuring smile and patted your shoulder. "But I'll definitely look into it!"

"Thank you!" sighing with relief, you were overjoyed to know you didn't have to venture out of the safe camp again. If Ji-woon could easily follow you to the Entity's tree then it was likely he'd wait around to catch you again.

You were turning back towards your cabin when Jake caught your elbow.

"Wait, I have a question."

"Yes?"

He leaned in close and began whispering, "So, you and Dwight huh?"

A groan rose from your chest and you started, "Look-"

"It's too bad!" Drawing back, he threw his hands in the air. "I think you're really cute."

"Whaaat?" Surprise became evident on your features.

"If it doesn't work out then you know where to find me!" Throwing you a little wink, he picked up his toolbox from the ground and disappeared into his cabin.

You were utterly flabbergasted. Why on earth did everyone think you and Dwight were a thing? Love was the very last thing on your mind right now. In fact, your top priority would be surviving with as little suffering as possible, maybe even still settling in. There was so much left to do before you could make this home and the fact that you didn't even want to be here in the slightest was making that near impossible. Sure Dwight's presence was often like a beacon from heaven but you'd never feel comfortable.

Not with Trickster around.
