I wanted a prince to sweep me off my feet

I wanted to be a pop star
When I was 10
I wanted to be a police officer
When I was 12
I wanted to travel the world
A few months ago
I wanted to be a marine biologist
A month ago
I wanted to be a photographer
Now...
I want to be a teacher
I want to be a teacher
So I can't teach kids
That it's okay to change your mind
That growing up isn't a bad thing
That they're only at the beginning
I want them to figure out who they are
And what they like
And what they want
I want to see them grow
And learn the same way I did
I wanna see them find their passion
I want to see them be kids
