A Forgotten Memory (Liam Payne Fan Fiction) Under Editing

Chapter 20

{Hale's POV}

It's been two days since I found out I'm pregnant. Every morning I throw up at least twice, and Liam has been with me each time. When I get sick he is right beside me holding my hair back and rubbing my back.

Today Liam and I are going to tell our families about the baby then have a meeting with Simon. I'm absolutely terrified. What if Mr. and Mrs. Payne won't want anything to do with the baby? They'll hopefully be happy for us.

"Babe you ready?" Liam asked me as he grabbed his shirt and I finished curling my hair. "Yeah I'll meet you in the car." He nodded then kissed the top of my head and started to put his shirt on as he went out to the car. I checked my appearance one more time before walking outside. I'm wearing a dark blue and white and red plaid long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up, dark wash denim shorts that go mid-thigh, and white converse high tops. My hair is down in curls and I'm not wearing any make up.

I walked out the front door and locked it behind me but first made sure Luther and Snowball were inside. I went into Liam car and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. He chuckled a little and I gave him a confused look. "We're matching!" He exclaimed then turned the ignition on. I looked at his shirt and noticed his blue and white plaid shirt, and cream trousers.

As we drove closer and closer to Liam's families house I kept getting more nervous. Once he parked I got a bit light headed and felt sick to my stomach. Liam placed his hand over mine and looked me in the eyes. "Everything will be okay." All I could do was nod. He picked up my hand and kissed it then exited the car. As I unbuckled my seat belt Liam opened my door for me. I gave him a smile as a thank you then got out of the car.

My mum's, Ruth's, Nicola's, and the Payne's car are all here. Great, so now I can't stall. Hopefully you understood that that was sarcastic.

When we walked in Liam took my hand in his and gave it a slight squeeze. "We're here." Liam announced as we walked into the living room. Everyone is sitting on the couch and chairs that surround the t.v. talking. We waved hello then sat down at the end of the couch where Ruth was sitting on the other end.

There was small talk going on for about an hour, during that Liam was bouncing his leg up and down nervously while I tried to calm him down. "We have to go in about an hour, do you want to tell them now?" Liam told me and I nodded. I guess now is better then never.

Once everyone quieted down a little Liam said "So the reason Hale and I asked you all to come was because we have something to tell you guys." Everyone smiles faded a bit and stared at us looking a bit scared. "Is everything okay?" Mr. Payne asked us. I looked at Liam and he looked at me. "I guess you could say everything is okay. But there's someone that is going to change things." I told them and the parents gave us a confused look. "Someone?" Nicola interrogated. Liam and I both nodded. "Please tell me your relationship is only you two." Ruth practically demanded. I giggled then said "Yes it's only Liam and I but..." I trailed off and everyone stared at us. I'm starting to get more nervous I can't even say it. "Do you want me to tell them?" Liam whispered in my ear. I gave him a half smile whilst nodding. "Hale is pregnant." Everyone froze.

I knew this was going to happen. They're not happy. Tears pricked at my eyes as I looked down at mine and Liam's hands and squeezed it. "We weren't expecting this but sometimes things happen." Liam snapped but still no one spoke. I could tell Liam was getting aggravated by everyone's response of silence. "We're keeping the baby if any of you care." Liam almost yelled then stood up and pulled me up by my hand. He pulled me out of the room until my mum yelled out "Wait!" We both froze just as Liam was about to reach for the door knob. He clutched my hand so tight I thought it might break. "I'm sorry sweet heart. We're all very shocked. Please come back in." My mum begged. I looked at Liam and he nodded. A tear slipped down my cheek and I quickly wiped it away before anyone could notice.
