Hope PoV:
The next morning I got breakfast with Landon, but the only thing I could think about was that goddamn kiss. I couldn't lie to Landon like that, I did that to Josie and it pushed her right into Penelope's arms. God, how much I still hate her for telling Jo about the kiss.
I was deep in my thoughts when Landon suddenly spoke "how weird was it seeing them together? I honestly didn't think they'd last that long. They must really love each other.".
I awkwardly smiled at that and sighed "yes, they are perfect for each other.". He looked at me kinda confused "what's the sarcastic tone for?". I just shrugged it off, but he insisted to know.
I took a deep breath, he had to know the truth "yesterday, when I went to the bathroom during the movies something happened...". I stopped and looked at him preparing myself to continue "Josie kissed me. I pulled away and told her it was not okay and that I'm with you.".
I know that was a lie, that I kissed her and liked it, but he couldn't know that. I can just blame it on Josie, it's not like Landon would confront her.
He just looked at me for a few moments and then took my hand in his "thank you for trusting me enough to tell me. What she did wasn't okay, but at least you also weren't okay with it.".
'Yeah, I definitely was', I thought but quickly pushed that thought away.

Penelope PoV:
I was doing some shopping when I suddenly saw Landon. When he saw me he walked to me with anger in his eyes "hi Landon, how are you?". He looked at me and quietly hissed "keep your girlfriend under control, she can't just go around kissing people.".
My heart dropped and I felt like the floor was collapsing under me "what are you talking about? Who did she allegedly kiss?". Landon looked at me sadly "she kissed Hope at the cinema in the bathroom. Hope told me. Just thought you would want to know."
He walked away in a hurry and I was left standing there with my broken heart. I thought she got over her, why the hell is that happening to me...
