Chapter 1

We both went inside and I went to her and we were so close "I really like you Penny. And I want to be with you.". She smiled and spun me around "yes, Josie. I want to be with you too.", then she kissed me and it felt amazing.

Then I thought to myself 'maybe that wasn't a bad decision after all.'

That's how it ended.... or did it?

3 years later....
Josie PoV:
I was walking down the street in New York with a coffee in my hand as I listened to music. I always wanted to go to NYU and now I'm finally here, living my dream.

After I finished my classes I had volleyball practice. We had a good team and I know that we can do anything.

After the practice it was already 7 pm, so I went to my dorm, showered and FaceTimed Penelope. That was kind of my typical day here. She always answered, but today it was different.

She was probably busy. I called yet again and there was no answer. It was weird, because we reserved this hour for our FaceTime calls. I tried again and nothing.

I sighed and texted her, but still nothing. After a while I gave up and jumped on a bed wondering what I was going to do that day.

I looked through the internet to see that nothing was really going on that day. I decided that I was going shopping, I got up, got ready and walked out of my dorm.

Hope PoV:
It's been three years, three years since she broke my heart, shattered it completely. But I got fixed up and I was happy. Well, why wouldn't I be happy being in Yale with my boyfriend Landon.

Yes, boyfriend. We got together around a year ago. It wasn't expected, but it fixed my broken heart completely and I feel like like I'm on top of the world. He means so much to me and I was happy to be with him.

Living in New York was amazing, especially all of the amazing things that are there. We got to our dorms today and we both went our separate way.

Since Landon had a robotics club or something, I decided to go shopping.

I was walking around for hours when I heard a voice, a voice I haven't heard in three years. And honestly, I had mixed feelings about it.

I looked around to see where it came from and then I found her. She was still beautiful, if not even more. She was focusing on what the shop assistant was telling her and I just stared at her.

That's when she turned around and we instantly locked eyes.
