Chapter 14

Hope PoV:
I pulled away to see Landon and Penelope standing there with a big cake and champagne, probably to celebrate engagement. Josie's engagement with Penelope. Which is funny to think about considering I'm literally married to her.

'She's mine', I wanted to say. 'She doesn't love you, she loves me and I love her too. We are married'. But I stayed quiet. I didn't move, I just looked at Josie, who was shaking.

I touched her shoulder in comfort and she looked at me with terror in her eyes, tears forming and slowly escaping her eyes. She was scared and Penelope was angry. I wanted to hug her, but it would just create more problems.

"I won't ask again, what happened?". Josie opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Landon jumped in "yeah, why are you kissing my girlfriend". That's when I started feeling bad, Landon didn't deserve this. He is one of the best people I know and I love him.

Penelope just simply added "and why are you kissing my fiancée?!?". That's when she got closer to Josie and I protectively ran in front of her "oh, so Josie can't explain things herself now. She needs someone to defend her from her own fiancée?".

"You know, if you were a good fiancée she wouldn't need my protection. But I will not let you yell at her or make her feel bad about anything. I love her and she loves me . Everyone can see that, if you can't you are blind.".

She started laughing and pushed me against the wall "and who did she choose? Me. She chose me and she is getting married to me. So, you lost Hope. Just get over it.".

I got in front of her face and punched her "wrong. I'm her wife. We just got married.". I punched her again and she started pulling my hair. We were rolling around just trying to destroy the face of the other one when Landon pulled me off of Penelope.

Josie PoV:
They were fighting, that's not good. I could've helped or stopped this, but I stood there frozen in time. What did we do? I didn't regret it obviously, I regretted the hurt we caused with it.

Landon stopped them and that's when I took my engagement ring and gave it to Penelope "I'm sorry. I know nothing I say will make this better, but I do hope you can forgive me one day. Also, Landon. I'm sorry I stole your girl. I hope you two can be happy.".

Me and Hope walked out after Hope gave her final goodbyes and we were all crying. We got to the car and when we got in we looked at each other "now we are free... where do you want to go?". Since there was vacation time, we could basically go anywhere.

I smiled at her through tears "let's go travelling around Europe for a year. That's something I've always wanted and now I can't imagine experiencing it with anyone else but you.".

We agreed and I pulled her into a kiss "I love you hopey.". She smiled at me "I love you too Jo" and pulled me back into the kiss.

Then we drove away into our forever.

Feeling happy and in love.
