Veronica's POV

"Baby! Veronica, my love wake up! You're having a nightmare"

I hugged him as soon as I woke up from my deep sleep where I saw my childhood friend drown in front of me and I couldn't do anything about it.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" sabi ko habang ako ay umiiyak. The tears won't just stop falling, kahit anong punas ko at punas niya sa aking pisngi at mata, I can't seem to stop crying.

"Shhh it's okay love, it's okay. It's not your fault. None of it was." saad ni Darryl

"Do you need anything? Warm milk o gusto mo bang magpahinga ulit? You were crying so much baby. I got so worried. I thought something happened to you"

"Gusto ko nalang magpahinga, pasensya ka na. Pagod lang talaga ako, sa commute, sa school works, and the upcoming field trip. Ako kasi in-assign ng professor ko to basically organize the whole thing for my class."

"Okay baby. We'll talk about this tomorrow, okay? I'll help you with the preparations. You should go get some rest now."

He tucked me in bed, but I still feel restless. My heart won't stop beating so fast and so hard. I don't feel at ease.

"I'll go now, please try to get some sleep" saad niya

He was about to walk out and close the door but I stopped him

"Darryl?"

"Yes, my love?"

"Can you stay with me tonight?"

"I'm sorry, nevermind. I-i just I'm so sorry"

"There's nothing to apologize for baby. Of course I'll stay with you, anything for you, you know that"

Hindi ako sanay na makita at maramdaman ang side na ito ni darryl. It's so weird yet comforting at the same time.

Alam ko na he's very dependable and loyal, but everyone knows that he's very cold to everyone and I'm not an exception. I know for a fact that he still see me as an object he bought for 15 million.

I have so many questions that I know I won't have the answers to. Dahil sakanya ko lang makikita ang mga sagot sa aking mga katanungan at alam ko na hindi niya kailanman ako pagkakatiwalaan na malaman ang kanyang mga sikreto at ang istorya ng kanyang buhay.

He wouldn't open up to me. Case closed.

Kaya naka-pagtataka na ganito niya ako tratuhin ngayon. Baka may kailangan siya saakin.

Hala, p-p-paano kung gusto niya yung yung

"What?" he asked

Nawala ako sa aking malallim na iniisip at bigla akong napatingin sakanya. Nagsimula siyang lumakad palapit sa akin, akala ko uupo siya sa upuan na malapit sa aking kama pero nilampasan niya lamang ito

nakatingin parin ako sakanya, habang pinagmamasdan ko ang kanyang mukha at buong katawan

Hindi mo maikakaila ang kanyang kagwapuhan. He has everything, he's rich, handsome, and has a great body.

I think he saw me ogling. He coughed and nagkatinginan kami.

He smirked at me as soon as he reached the side of the bed.

I gulped as he pulled the blanket and laid down beside me.

"H-huy anong g-ginagawa---"

"I'm not going to do anything, especially without your consent." He claimed

He then grabbed me by the waist and pulled me closer to him.

I can feel his breath on my neck. Nakakakiliti.

"But I can assure you, when you're ready I'm sure you're going to be enjoying what I'd do to you baby."
