"Is that a nigga's jacket?"
She looked at him unamused with her hand on her hip, "That's what you came here for, to question me?"
He walked over, towering over her short frame, "Nah, I missed you. That's all."
Her breath hitched as he snaked his arms around her waist, his signature cologne clouded her nostrils.
"Move," She pushed him away trying not to smile but he pulled her back into him.
"I know you missed me too," He said matter of factly.
She sighed looking him in his eyes, "Where you been at, Nathan?"
"I've been handling business—"
Keira rolled her eyes breaking out of his grasp and entering the bathroom to freshen up.
"I'm here now though, that's all that matters," He called after her and took a seat on the couch.
Moments later, she came back out with a green pajama set and hair tied up in a large pineapple.
She noticed Nathan laying on her bed with nothing but his boxers and white crew-neck t-shirt, aimlessly scrolling through his phone.
Keira ignored him and began warming up the leftover food. She knew his disappearance had something to do with a girl, that's why she was so annoyed.
"Keira," He called after her.
The microwave sounded and she quickly retrieved her food, sitting on the couch watching whatever played on the television.
"Why you ignoring me, Key?"
She looked at him, "Do you need something?"
"Yeah, I'm lonely over here. Come keep me company," He responded smiling at her.
"I'm eating."
Nathan sighed, rolling out of the bed and walking over to her. She watched him silently as he took the plate out of her hands and rested it on the dining table.
"Natha—"
Nathan quickly scooped Keira into his arms effortlessly, carrying her to the bed.
"I was eating, Nathan," She said sternly trying to hide her smile.
He fell backward on the bed with her still in his arms, "Well, I want to cuddle."
Keira laughed, brushing his waves down, "What happened to letting your hair grow?"
"You supposed to help me out!" He exclaimed.
"When did I agree on helping you grow your hair out? And is this a new tattoo?" She grazed the fresh ink on his neck of a cobra.
"When you started growing out your pretty ass natural hair," He answered, reaching up to touch her hair but she quickly swatted his hand away.
"I missed you," She mumbled in the crook of his neck.
"Then act like it instead of beefing with me," he responded rubbing her leg.
