(Still Cole's POV)
I swear, I swear I know who that is... She looks so familiar, and I know that I haven't just seen her in some stupid magazine. Maybe she goes to my school? No... I was friends with her along time ago? No... Ugh! It's driving me nuts!
I crack open my can of coke and look around my living room. Empty. As always. My eyes fall back down to my coke and I let it drop. The can spills all over the leather couch, but I don't care.
"Coleslaw, was that you?" My sister asks me. I looked up from my hands, but didn't respond back to her. She walked in and saw the mess then looked to me with a quirked up eyebrow. "Why'd you do that?" She asked me, but I just shrugged. She rolled her eyes and walked out of the room.
I got up and walked out to the backyard, and then I lied down and looked at the stars. I heard someone from above me and looked over to my neighbor's balcony. There I saw her, I saw Arie Potter, the girl who has been living in my house for years, the girl I bullied for years...
Could it be? Is she really... No, it couldn't seriously be her... But my thoughts were saying that everything was adding up, all the dots were connecting, but she didn't look like a supermodel, she looked like Arie.
'Looks can be deceiving...' My mind told me, and I nodded my head absentmindedly. Yes, they could be, but I need to be sure. My eyes were blinded slightly because of the dark, so maybe if it were lighter?
I crawled stupidly over to her balcony and climbed up the fragile, wiry vines of rope. Then when I saw her I gasped and that caught her attention, she looked over to me, startled. Startling myself, I accidentally let go of the vines and fell, but not before twisting my ankle.
A shout of pain got through my teeth and Arie immediately climbed down the rope, but being the graceful girl she is, she fell... On me. Another shout of pain came through my mouth.
"Sorry, oh my gosh. I'm so sorry..." She mumbled as she got off of me. I scowled at her and she widened her eyes in surprise, and what seemed to be fear also.
"You probably broke my rib," I glare at her, and she looks down. I sigh and lay my head back on the ground. Arie looks at me curiously and I roll my eyes at her. "What?" I spat at her angrily. She instantly looked away and I looked back at the stars.
"They're beautiful," I hear her mumble quietly. I look over to her and look into her beautiful cerulean blue eyes. Wait, did I just say beautiful? Wow... Me, bully, calling Arie, bullied. Beautiful, well, her eyes anyways. "Why are you staring at me?" She whispered.
"I don't know," I lied in a whisper back. What the heck is wrong with me? First I call her beautiful, and now I'm staring at her like a moron? What the heck?
Arie giggles and rolled her eyes," ok, well, I gotta go. See ya," she hollers at me as she climbs up to her balcony. I lie there for a little longer and then start to wonder why I'm lying on the ground.
I go back up into my room, and lie there like a retard looking at the ceiling. Arie's beautiful. Huh. I must be crazy. It's probably because I didn't drink any coffee this morning...
