Cole was talking to someone on the phone. I was over at his house again, and he'd been talking to them for a long time. Every time I walked near him he would be really quiet. He was starting to worry me. No, I didn't think he was cheating on me, much. I just had a wild idea that he was in some sort of gang.

That's what worries me.

He finally gets off the phone and I smile at him expectantly. Cole bites his lip as he smiles and looks down at me. "I have a surprise for you." He tells me, and takes my hand. "I think you'll enjoy it," he says.

"Where are we going?" I ask him, and my eyes roam our surroundings that we pass by. He doesn't says anything, he keeps his lips sealed. "Cole?" I ask him again.

"Yes Arie?" He asks me back with the same tone.

"Where are we going?" I try again with a sweeter tone.

"If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise, now would it?" He asks me, and I glare at him. "Trust me, you'll love it." He tells me, and I sigh, leaning my head back against the leather seat.

"Okay... If you say so," I say and close my eyes. "Tell me when we are there," I ask him and then settle into a dark sleep.

"Arie, Arie, Arie get up." I hear a voice say and I open my eyes to see Cole smiling down at me.

"Where are we?" I ask him, and he looks around us as if he didn't know. "Cole, where are we?" I ask him again more sternly.

"Above the city," he tells me. I give him a confused look and he chuckles, grabbing my hand and taking me somewhere.

"How? Why?" I ask him, but he doesn't answer me. Cole pulls on my hand and looks down into my green eyes. "Cole what are we doing?" I ask him, and he smiles at me.

"We are on a date," he tells me.

"Oh, um..."

"Sh, you don't have to say anything." He hushes me, and I sigh and nod my head. "Look, you can see the stars up here." He points out some of the constellations.

"Wow, you really can see so many things here..." I whisper, and look around. The city's lights were faded against the night sky. From the corner of my eye I saw Cole turn towards me. Unconsciously, I turned toward him too.

"Arie?" He asked me, and I looked him in the eyes.

"Yeah?"

"Can I... Can I kiss you?" He asked me, and I bit my lip for a moment before I slowly nodded my head. We both leaned in and he lightly pressed his lips to mine. Our eyes were opened as we kissed, and I could see everything he was thinking and feeling in that moment.

When we pulled back we were breathing slightly harder than before. He looked at me with a look that could make any girl sigh in delight. "You know..." He started, "you really are beautiful..." I smile and kiss his cheek.

"Thank you," I say and look down to hide the light blush on my face. He smiles and gently brushes my cheek, his thumb lightly rubbing my cheek bones. "What are we gonna do now?" I ask him, and he looks over at me with a sly look.

"Oh I have an idea..."

This was an awful idea. Awful!

Cole and I were playing hide and go seek. In a dark forest land. It was scary, and I thought someone was following me. Someone besides Cole, and it was getting worse.

"Cole, please come out. I'm scared," I call to him, and there is no answer. Oh no, what if someone killed him?! He's my ride home, and my friend...

A twig snapped from behind me, and my eyes widened and I started to run away from the spot I had been in. "Cole! This isn't funny!" I scream through the trees and darkness.

Leaves rustle from behind me, and I squeal and run faster. Someone's hand comes out and grabs me. I do all I can to get out of their hold but it's too strong for me to get out of. Looking up, I see the eyes of my capturer.

"Cole!" I screamed.

He laughed and pat me on the head. My eyes narrowed into a glare as I huff and walk off into the darkness, which I soon regret when I hear the hoot of an owl.

I'm alone.

Crap!

(Cole's POV)

I've been calling Arie's name for hours. Literally. I have no clue where she ran off to after she realized it was me. After she ran off, I actually felt kind of bad. That's why I'm running around looking for her.

While running, something falls on me. Something that shouts "ow" when they land on me. I look down and see Arie looking up at me. "Arie where the heck have you been?!" I ask her, and she points up at the tree. "How'd you get up there?" I ask her stupidly.

"Climbing," she says tiredly with a yawn. "Goodnight," I hear her whisper in my ear and then she falls asleep with one more yawn. I get up and place her in my arms gently.

Then I take her to where I parked my car, and gently set her inside. What a long ride ahead...
