Arriving to the base, every soldier collapsed. Medics ran to aid them but Claire only had one objective. She fought against the medic and ran. She marched all the way to the west building, where the generals and Lady Monarch rested. She barged in before the guards could do anything.

"We need a rescue team in Infernal castle right now! They've taken Arielle!" she said entering. Lady monarch sat near a table sipping her tea, she continued looking down at her reading material

"Do we now?" She asked carelessly. she looked up narrowing her eyes. "whatever happened to the respect I taught you, Claire," small fainted flashes of memories appeared in Claire's mind, abuse, neglect, blood, Claire pushed it back, she scoffed.

"We've lost one of our finest core lieutenants and you're here just sipping tea?" she asked angrily. Lady Monarch shugged.

"In times of war, sacrifice is a given. Plus, we have no need for soldiers that cannot defend themselves, our finest fighters are my generals. Arielle was nowhere near their level even when she could control geo," she said with uninterest. Claire stood there shocked. what was she hearing from her mother?

"But it's Arielle! she's my gir- I- I mean she's an important soldier!" she corrected herself on the verge of tears. Lady Monarch glared at her. She stood slowly, shivering with sheer anger. Claire took a step back.

"How DARE you show weakness to me! I should rip your throat out right now! Arielle is gone, an insignificant price to pay in war! GET AWAY from ME! GUARDS!" She hollered with such fury. Guards rushed into the room and grabbed Claire harshly. Lady Monarch looked dismissingly at her daughter like she was absolutely nothing. She turned her back. Claire screamed as she was dragged out, she screamed at her mother, at her commander, she screamed at the person who so easily dismissed the love of her life.
