Aleodei wasn't always invited to the council meetings, it was rare. Either way, she didn't expect to be considered, given that she was here to fight.

It had been almost a year now since Aleodei had come to help Trinity.

After morning drills, Claire told her that she heard a critical meeting was taking place. Belm said it could be a game changer, Aleodei doubted, Trinity was slothful. As predicted Belm and Claire made up, Belm apologized and blamed sleep deprivation and claire withheld the fact she slept with Aleodei and they continued happily. Ironically to Aleodei, they had seemingly accepted Aleodei into their duo but she wasn't very happy, she was used to soloing it, but as much as denied it, she had gotten used to life here in Trinity. Sure the leader was corrupted but now that she was fighting alongside others, they realized that she wasn't a threat and actually began to treat her as a comrade, though no one could beat Duin's company who regularly came over and visited Aleodei to run around the subspace's open nature fields, when she's training, doing her morning drill, or even invites her to the kitchen to spend the day making food together. Aleodei remained focused on her objective and never faltered, but allowed herself to enjoy Duin's friendship. She found that fighting for friendship was much better than running on hatred and vengeance.

Aleodei was in the kitchen helping Ervy with fire and repairing the oven when there was an announcement that everyone had to report to the drop, the huge building where the airships and soldiers were deployed outside. Aleodei stood next to Duin and the kitchen squared before she saw Claire wave her over.

"I heard they made a decision about the Lilac Livings," Claire whispered to Aleodei, Aleodei looked over to where Duin was, that small creature that held so much hope for a new world, maybe it was finally time for her to see the actual thing.

"Where's disciple Belm?" She asked looking for her bleached hair, Claire pointed underneath Lady Monarch's balcony, there stood six disciples in formal uniforms. There were murmurs all around the hundreds of soldiers. Everyone, that wasn't patrolling or guarding the front was here, despite Trinity maxing their defenses because of the recent break-in at the ball.

"Who told you about the decision?" Aleodei asked, suspicious about Claire's source.

"Belm told me she heard it from disciple Extli, It seems General Hydro has a big mouth: Claire said getting closer to Aleodei as the Drop filled even more.

Just as Aleodei was about to erupt in overwhelm, a booming voice that was General Florous' husk voice introduced Lady Monarch, Aleodei and Claire looked at each other before turning back to the balcony. Lady Monarch arrived with a calm smile.

"my dear Trinity, the day of light is approaching!" she said with great jubilee. "We finally have enough power and information to end the Infernals once and for all!" Everyone cheered but dread filled Aleodei, shocks of panic ran across her.

"LIGHT APPROACHES!" they chanted as Aleodei felt the feeling in her fingers go.

It was time.

nothing will be the same.

no more morning drills.

no more kitchen.

no more Trinity.

It. Was. Time.

She didn't realize she was shaking until Claire grabbed her hand gently with concern.

"You okay?" She asked worried, Aleodei nodded and let go of her hand.

"Just thrilled," she muttered before turning back to Lady Monarch's speech.

"Thanks to intel gathered by our brave Trinity soldiers-" Aleodei rolled her eyes, it was because of her work that they had that information. "-In one month is their sacred day: Lilac Livings, the day we will strike! and bless their holy day with their blood" she said with sheer excitement. "We will take their castle and force the infernal controls to back down!" She shook with great joy. "B'alam will be ours!" She exclaimed.

The cheers of the soldiers filled Aleodei's ears, as the room spun, as her heart sank. Claire glanced at her friend from the corner of her eyes as curiousness filled her, Aleodei didn't seem to be enjoying this, but Claire definitely was.

When the crowd died down, Monarch cleared her throat.

"Now, for your assignments, you must reach out to your direct supervisor because they have the job you'll be filling on this joyous day, that will be all. Let Light destroy the Darkness!" she said reciting Trinity's anthem before retreating with her Generals at her side. Aleodei turned to Claire with great dread, Claire looked so excited.

"Well, if you look at that," she said with a big grin. "You've helped us finally end this war Aleodei, "how do you feel?" she asked with stars in her eyes. Despite the great despair, Aleodei felt to know that her mission was soon to be completed.

"The war is not over," Aleodei said cautiously, cold because all the blood had rushed from her limbs, Claire shook her head and chuckled.

"We've got this in the bag!" she said easily with conviction, Aleodei nodded grimly. She looked off to look for Duin's dark grey hair, she needed her innocence to comfort her but she knew, that she shouldn't comfort this panic, despair, or whatever you'd call it because it'll get her ready for what's to come, what needs to come.
