"Claireeee"

She called out teasingly chuckling lowly, "It's just you and me here. Why don't you join me? let us lead today in the new future," Arielle said smoothly as she walked around looking for Claire.

Claire cursed under her breath. She was hiding behind a column.

"I know you're strong enough to fight her control! Arielle stop this!"Claire called out daringly. Arielle popped out from the side.

"You called, babe?" she said snidely. "I really dated you?" she said judgingly, "I was blinder than I thought," Arielle reached for Claire. Claire ran to dodge her firsts.

"Arielle I won't fight you! I love you damn it!" she said urgently. Arielle stopped and stood still. The red glow in her eyes flickered but then stayed strong. Claire gasped at the slight chance of saving her.

"You know Claire when Sahamid was trying to break into my mind, I kept calling your name, hoping you'd come back. hoping you'd rescue me" Arielle said tonelessly.

Suddenly her face twisted with so much pain and anguish.

"CLAIRE, CLAIRE, HELP, HELP, PLEASE SAVE ME!" she screamed.

Claire felt shivers in her skin. It was so lifelike but she knew it wasn't Arielle. Arielle chuckled darkly, "You were too late," she said as her face fell casting no emotion. "I think I'll use you to destroy your mother, Claire, I'll take down trinity and serve the true ruler of this world, King Dale," She said with a wicked grin. Claire furrowed her eyebrows, She searched for a plan to free her girlfriend. "Will you join me?" Arielle said softly before reaching out, the red glow of her eyes diminished and she could see Arielle's beautiful grey eyes.

"Claire?" Arielle called out shakingly before the glow reappeared and her face dropped. Claire accepted Arielle's hand defeatedly. Arielle grinned hollowly. "What you'll do for love huh?" she said distortedly.

"I'm doing this for Arielle," Claire whispered leaning into Arielle, she pecked Arielle's lips softly as Arielle stood completely still, emotionless. "I'm sorry, forgive me," Claire said gently before taking out her taser and shocking Arielle. Arielle gasped and took some steps back. "Arielle brace yourself cause I'm about to beat you out of mind control," She said firmly gripping the taser. Arielle grinned and held her side where Claire had tased her.

"Fine. if this is how it is, I'll take you by force but I will have you!" Arielle said angrily as they charged at each other. Landing blows, dodging them.

Claire huffed, she had never been the fighter type. Arielle ran to her and mercilessly pounded into Claire. Claire managed to tase her harder. The red glow flickered.

Arielle's face filled with struggle, her mouth moved, grunting to form any words.

"no- stop this-" she said softly. Some words or grunts sounding more human than robot. Arielle crouched down holding her head struggling against Sahamid's mind control. She looked up, her eyes staring at Claire, filling up with tears. "Claire," she whispered reaching out to her. Before Claire could reach her, her eyes filled with fear and pain.

"Arielle!" Claire responded stepping forward. Arielle let out a scream, the battle between the red control and the whiteness of Arielle's eyes constant. She sunk to her knees still screaming. Claire stepped forward again.

"Fight her Arielle!" She yelled holding her tightly. Arielle looked at her with tears streaming down.

"Claire- she's too strong- I-" She let a groan. "run," she said shedding more tears. Claire shook her head.

"I'm- I'm not leaving you! Arielle!" Arielle's fist landed in her stomach and still, Claire didn't let go. The room shook.

"You can reach your core?" Arielle's red glow asked nervously. Arielle fought a grin.

" Claire run now," she said pushing claire and battling to stand. the red flicker staying more and more time. The walls began to crumble and the floor crack. "Claire! RUN!" Arielle yelled as the columns began to collapse. Claire began to run. "CLAIRE!" Arielle called out as Claire exited the room. "I love you, I'm sorry," she said smiling sorrowfully before she brought down her hands and the roof caved in. The ground shook and settled. Claire blinked and ran to the blocked doorway and began to claw at the huge chunks of rocks.

"ARIELLE NO!" she yelled unable to get the rocks out of the way. She heard footsteps coming her way and forced herself to run off. She couldn't believe she was leaving Arielle, though a part of her knew she was dead. She found a damp storage room and crawled into the vent.

She curled up into a ball and quietly sobbed before drifting off to sleep.
