Our Love

We arrive at Rami's house and his house is bigger than I expected. We knock on and he opens up as he holds back his dog.
"Girls hey, come in. Don't mind Uno, he's friendly, just excited to see new people" we walk in as he shuffles the dog across the room.
"Hey Rami, where's Maria?"
"She's in the living room watching cartoons" He lets go and the dog comes speeding towards me, and sits in front of me. "He won't jump up but he'll wait for you to pet him" I stand and stroke him as I see Maria walk in with a blanket.
"Maria!" Shelby picks her up and spins her around. She screams out of joy and then looks at me. "This is Toni. My girlfriend, we're babysitting you tonight" Shelby puts her down and grabs my hand. I stop stroking Uno and he follows us into the living room.

"So Maria's had her dinner, she'll just want a biscuit or something before bed. She sometimes gets out of bed and gets into mine but it's fine leave her in there. She goes bed at 7 and will probably be awake when I get back tomorrow. Her night light is always on and Uno might sleep in her room so leave the door open, other than that mi casa es tu casa so enjoy yourselves. I left some cash on the counter if you want to order some food but there's plenty of snacks in the pantry"
"She's a good sleeper Toni, so don't worry" Shelby looks as me as I take in everything Rami said.
"She doesn't cry as often as you would think, only when she's hungry, wants a drink or when she needs her diaper changing. Just don't lose the blanket and you won't get a child who sounds like she's dying" he laughs and grabs his bag. "I'll be back around 7, she might wake up between 5-7 but she also might sleep in. You guys got everything?"
"We got it don't worry, right Toni?"
"Uh yeah, we got it" Maria comes walking up to me and I pick her up. "Hey, shall we go watch some Looney Tunes?" I take her into the living room and sit her on the couch. I sit down and Uno jumps up next to me. "Alright guys, let's watch some cartoons"

A few minutes later, I look up and see Shelby just watching me. "You okay?"
"I'm alright, you look like you're having fun"
"I'm a sucker for some Bugs Bunny" She sits down next to Maria, who's got her eyes glued to the screen. "She's better behaved than any kid I've ever been around"
"I told you it would be easy. What kind of food do you want?"
"Pizza?"
"I'll order it when Maria goes to bed" I look at the time and it's 6:37.
"Alright cool"

We sit and chill on the couch as Shelby cleans around the house. Around 10 minutes later, I see Maria sleeping. "Shelby"
"Mmm?"
"Shall I carry her to bed?" She looks at Maria.
"Yeah, okay" I pick her up softly and take her into her room. Shelby and Uno follow behind. I put her into bed and kiss her forehead. "Goodnight little one" I smile and Shelby comes up behind me and wraps her arms around my waist.
"I think you'd be a perfect parent, even if Maria wasn't awake long. You still managed to not make her cry" I laugh quietly and turn on her night light. We walk out and I leave the door ajar for Uno who was laying by Maria's bed.
"So now it's just us what do you want to do?" Shelby pulls me in and kisses me.
"What I want to do is sit on the couch, snuggle up to you and watch some movies"
"Sounds good to me" I kiss her and we go back to the living room.

It was 3 hours later, when we were sat watching The Hunger Games and eating pizza when Maria comes walking out with her blanket. "Maria, baby? Are you okay?" She shakes her head and sits in between us. Uno follows behind her and lays down in his bed.
"Do you want some pizza?"
"Toni, you can't feed her this late"
"Why?"
"Cheese gives people nightmares"
"Do you believe that?" I break up a slice of pizza and give it to her. She sits eating it as she watches the movie.
"Toni, she should go back to bed"
"It's okay, when she falls asleep, I'll take her back in. Right Maria?"
"Yeah!"
"Ok ok, shhh both of you, let's put on a kids movie" Shelby reaches over and grabs the remote.
"Maria, what do you want?"
"Elsa" she gives her last bite to Uno who was staring at us from across the room.
"Ooh, I love Elsa, she's like my best friend you know?"
"Really!"
"Oh yeah, I'll have to introduce you to her one day"
"Yes please" Shelby quietly laughs as she looks over at me. I wink and smile at her. We get comfy putting the pizza down and watch the tv. It was around 11:30 when I look over and see both Shelby and Maria asleep. I get out of the blanket carefully and pick Maria up, taking her back to her room, Uno follows behind me and sits by her bed as I leave. I go back to the living room and get comfy, Shelby moves over to lay on my chest and I fall asleep watching the end of the movie.

The next day, I wake up to a loud bang and sit up realizing Shelby wasn't on the couch. I walk over to where the noise came from and find Shelby and Maria in the kitchen eating cereal. "Sorry did we wake you?" She picks up the bottle that fell.
"It's alright, how are we doing today Maria?"
"Good, Selby made me coco pops"
"Did she? I think Selby should make herself some too right?"
"Toni, do you want coco pops?" Shelby asks as she pours herself some.
"Offering?"
"Of course" she pours another bowl and we sit eating cereal as we hear the front door unlock and open.

"Papa!" Rami comes in and puts his bag down as he comes into the kitchen.
"Hey baby, did you have a nice night?" He kisses her forehead and pours himself some coffee.
"Toni and Selby gave me pizza and we watched Elsa"
"Did they now" he looks at us smiling as we continue to eat.
"She got up and we thought it'd be best-"
"It's fine, as long as everyone's happy Shelb"
"Toni and Elsa are best friends papa"
"That's cool, I bet Toni is best friends with lots of your favourite people" Rami picks Maria up and takes her to get dressed.

"Do you want to go get some breakfast Toni?"
"Sure, can we go back to my house first?"
"Yeah, sure" We get changed in the bathroom and brush our teeth.
"Toni? Shelby?"
"In here" Shelby opens the door to Rami and Maria.
"We're going to open up the café, do you wanna join us?"
"Where's Mrs García?"
"Hold on. Maria, go put your coat on. I'll come help you in a minute" She runs off and Rami sighs. "She's not doing great, she's getting worse. We took her to the hospital and she refuses to tell us what the doctors said but it can't be good. She's back at home, we're going there first if you want to come?"
"Toni wants to go home first but can you take this with you?" She hands him her phone. "I have another if you still need to message me. My daddy has tracked it ever since I got into that car accident"
"So he tracks your phone so he doesn't lose you?"
"He also hates Toni so I can't go to her house with it" we both smile and he looks even more confused than before.
"Sure. Here's your money for babysitting. See you later?"
"Thank you. See you later, let's go Toni" I spit out the toothpaste and grab my things.

We both get home and see that Mrs B is getting ready for bed. "Oh hey girls"
"Hey, is Marty awake?"
"Uh I don't know, I haven't heard anything from her room. I've not been home long"
"I'll go see" Shelby follows me upstairs and I knock on Marty's door before opening it. I stand there stunned as Shelby peeks round the door and we both see her and Marcus in bed together asleep. "Well then, definitely not what I was expecting"
"Do you think they...?"
"I don't know, I don't think Marty would"

We go into my room and Shelby decides to push me on to my bed, taking her pants off. "Oh?"
"Shh" She begins to take off her top and I take off mine following her lead. She kisses my lips working her way down to my neck. "I love spending the night with you but not when I can't do this" She drags my sweatpants down and kisses all up my legs and between my thighs. My breathing becomes heavier and I decide that putting music on was the best option. I turn it up but not too loud, just enough to cover our sounds.
