we portal into the institute I looked around my surroundings. "You go left" Will says.
I grab a dagger and clear the left hallways including the rooms. I walk back toward the center ahead where will should be finishing up.
"Who are you?" I hear an unknown behind me. I grab my blade and get into my fighting stance.
"I asked you a question." he persists while getting closer to what I assume is a fighting pole or something.
I look at him straight in the eyes as we circle each other. "And I ignored you" I reply calmly.
He grabs the staff and swings it toward me. I grab a hold of it and manage to flip it toward my leverage. He goes for a punch as I grab his arm bringing it toward his back. He groans as I hold his arm in a restraint.
He tries to flip as I kick the back of his leg making him collapse on his knees. Grabbing both his hands. I place my blade toward his throat resting it on his neck. He struggles beneath me.
"Where is the inquisitor?" I ask in a threatening voice.
"Behind you Alicia" I hear my grandmother. My eyes widen as I turn the man over so that I don't take my eyes off him.
"You Can let him go I suppose" she says motioning toward Him. I let him go and make my way toward her. "Are you alright? Will said the institute issued a code of emergency"
"Oh? Is that what happened?" She asks confused. "I thought I printed something." She claims.
"We should probably check on Will then" I reply laughing. "Sorry about that buddy" I say to the blond guy. He looks over at me and nods. "I Guess it was nice for a change" he says brushing himself off
"Alicia was trained by the best. I'm not surprised you lost to her especially since you lack common sense" my grandmother says very boldly. His face molds into a straight line while I looked extremely shocked.
"I'm sorry, did you just compliment me?" I ask widely confused. My grandmother looks at me. "It's is not a compliment Alicia. You've earned your place in this family it is not given" she says while looking at the man. She storms off while telling me to find Will.
"Sorry about her. She's been a little on the edge. Turns out we have an extra reck of the family. I'm Alicia but my friends call me Ally" I say awkward. He looks at me and replies.
"Jace and I'm pretty sure I'm the extra reck" he says a little sarcastically. My eyes widen. "Welcome to the Family?" I laugh awkwardly while shooting him a grin.
"Thanks" he says smiling slightly. I look over at him. "If it makes you feel better, Will is a bit better than grandma."
"A bit?" He asks confused. I laugh "someone had to get those genetics okay?"
"I'm currently the disappoint of the family" I reply smirking. "We should look for Will"
Jace helped me look for Will until we found him arguing with a tall dark haired man.
"Ally" Will says once he sees me. He looks over at Jace and immediately frowns a bit. "This is Jace...Herondale" I introduce them.
"Jace this is William Herondale" I say. "We call him Will"
Will shakes Jaces hand. "Call me William"
I look over at the really tall brunette. "Who's that?" I ask Will. I wave at him flirtatiously.
Will snaps my hand and frowns. "No boys until your 25"
"Oh come on Will. He's hot" I whine. Jace looks smug. "Stop giving me that face jace. I'll punch it"
"You'd punch your family?" He asks in fake hurt tone. Will laughs and responds seriously. "She once punched me so bad my grandma thought a demon socked me"
"And I'll do it again! You ate my last chicken nugget. You're lucky I didn't chop your penis off" I threaten.
Will scoffs, while jace looks between the two of us. "I know the guy" he says suddenly.
My head snaps toward Jace. I wrap my hand around his arm and pull him toward the cutie. "You're introducing me"
"Alec?" He says as we're getting closer. The brunettes face snaps toward Jace as I let go of his arm.
"What?" He asks boredly. Jace points to me. "This is Alicia Herondale, my cousin"
"I go by Ally but you can call me yours, baby, my one and only love." I say giving him a fuck me look and doing a little hair flip. He looks at my face and looks at Jace who's face is a huge smirk.
"Didn't know you were that smooth with pickup lines" jace comments. I laugh in my cute trying to get the guy act. "I'm smooth and refined in other areas too you know?" I say looking at Alec.
"He's my Parabati" he states looking at Jace.
"And I'm going to be your girlfriend soon. I don't see your point babe." I ask with innocent eyes.
"Well, Ally. No offense but this with this height you've got going. I don't think you could even fight" he asks mocking me.
"I'm tall enough to fight besides," I reply offensively. "I'll beat your ass on the mat anyday"
"Are we talking about the same kind of fighting?"He asks me a little smug.
Jace places a hand on Alec's chest making him back up a bit. "Whoa whoa Romeo. Calm down"
"So it's fine when she does it?" He asks pointing at me.
Jace looks at Alec. "That's just her personality. Get use to it"
