"This is so rotten" I say approaching alec. He swiftly turns around and meets my gaze. He grins while looking at me and my crusty dress. The whole banquet hall was in full swing.

"You look..." he starts.

I interrupt "Corrosive? Mediocre? Abysmal?"

"Good." He finishes. I squint my eyes at him. "We need to teach you some better vocabulary"

"Noted. have you talked with any of your people?" He asks looking around and then meeting my gaze.

"I forgot they are all pieces of privileged dweebs so no, I haven't" I reply. "I did miss our stupid conversations"

"I missed you too Ally" he says sincerely. I reply with a bashful grin.

"Alice!" I hear behind me. I take a deep breath and turn around. Alec looks amused at my actions. "Amanda! Hi.." I say with fake sweetness. She looks up and alec.

She starts to fix her appearance. I hate this fucking bitch. We used to go to school together. When I spoke to her half the time I didn't know if I wanted to ram her head repeatedly against the wall or my own. Let's just say, at one point I literally called the angels cowards for not taking me out. I lost braincells speaking to this woman.

"How are you?" She drags out excited. She embraces me into hug and I get the biggest whiplash of juicy baby perfume.

I pull away and smile. I don't get to reply and she speaks again. "And who's this handsome thing? Your friend?"

"This is Alexander" I reply. She offers him a hand and pulls him into a hug. "Wow! You're like really tall" she says giggling.

Alec nods uncomfortably. He shifts closer to me. "Alice is an amazing friend you're so lucky to have her"

Am I about to speak out but instead I feel a hand snake it's way on my waist and alec replies. "She really is a great friend and an even better girlfriend" he says while smiling and giving a peck on the cheek.

Amanda's smiles fumbles at the action. "Oh my god! I thought you were friends my bad" she says in a overly sweetened tone.

"Well then, it was nice catching up Alice. Don't lose the wedding invite" she dismisses herself now with a distasteful grin.

"Don't worry, it doesn't exists" I mutter after she leaves. Alec still hasn't let go of me.

I turn around and face while still in his arms. "Did she leave perfume on me?"

"That girls coffin is gonna be Bebe perfume and I'm gonna barf" I reply. I take a whiff of alec placing my nose near his peck.

"ItS smell like cologne" I reply while sniffing.

"Aren't you two getting along nicely?" I hear jace say in an amused tone.

I turn around and face him. "Hey blondie! I missed your crusty ass"

He rolls his eyes "sure you did, I haven't done unsanctioned missions."

"I heard. I'll reminds me, Will wanted to speak to you" I inform. I pull away from Alec's hold. I see the rest of the gang is showing up. Clary suddenly teleports right next to jace and Isabelle just spawned eventually.

"Let's address the big butt in the room, are you two fucking or together?" Jace interrupts. Alec looks shocked at the choice of words while I have a blank face.
