The Fight(13)

I willed my trident into an invisibility cloak and gave it to Lewis. " What is this?" He asked " an invisibility cloak duh"I replied. " Wear it" I said.
" Okay and what is that lion doing here?." " That" I said "is the Nemean lion"
" The what now? " He asked. " I 'll tell you later" I said.
The beast pounced, and I swung my sword bounced harmlessly of it's hide.
I kept thinking how did Hercules kill it? Then it came to me, he strangled it. I didn't have the strength to do that so I thought if its whole body is protected how am I supposed to kill it? Now this is not my first monster, I have killed plenty others. Then something popped up in my mind. Of course! It's mouth!.
I just have to distract it so I can stick my sword in to its palate. The beast roared, this was it, my chance. I jabbed my sword with all my might into is mouth and upward into its palate. The beast fell down dead at my feet.

Lewis removed his invisibility cloak and handed it to me.

"That was... AMAZING!!" He said
"Thanks I guess" I replied.

And so we went back to the hotel

" Lewis you can't tell anyone exept Alex, Magnus and May."
"Why?"
"There is something i should have told you a long time ago" I said
" I am a Greek Minor God I am immortal only when I want to be. My mom is Demeter Godess of agriculture and my dad is Posiedon God of the Sea."

" You wanted to know about the Nemean lion right? Well it has a indestructible hide thats why I skinned the lion before it disintegrated. So I will make a coat from the hide. And every time we go out you will wear it."

Lewis listened to this in silence.

At last he said " can I be a minor god too?" I replied "once we go back to Britain I will ask mom and dad to make ya'll minor gods. I am serious. Ya'll as in Alex, Magnus and May."

"You're joking " he said.
"No I'm not"

By now it was night." Lets go to sleep shall we?"
" We shall".
