ƹ̵̡ӝ̵̨̄ʒ°┄─────╯

"Why do I only see your brother, Suzura-chan?" Ayako queried, genuine curiosity swirling in her eyes.
"Because my parents live there now." She pointed at the sky. "Did you know? Onii-chan said Mom gifted me my eyes... that's why it's blue."
They finished playing the snakes and ladders board game. So now, they're watching the sunset together, sprawled all over the engawa. 
"There?" Suzura nodded, but when she realized she couldn't see her, she responded with a hum. "But mama doesn't live there... So why is there blue here?" She pointed at her eyes. Her brown eyes had patches of blue, making them similar in some way.
"Eeeh? Well, do you know anyone who lives there?"
A thoughtful expression came to the short-haired girl.
"Um. Mom said Nana and Gramps live there too..."
"Hmm~ Maybe they gave it to you! It doesn't have to be your mom, you know." This time, Ayako hummed, agreeing to what she said, before a comfortable silence embraced the two of them.
"I think your brother's really cool, Suzura-chan." The snow-haired girl rose up, planting her sparkling eyes on Ayako's starfished figure.
"You think so too?!~"


"Why do you keep Kairi-chan away, Ayako-chan?" Suzura whispered.
"I just don't like selfish people."
"Selfish?"
"Yeah... So let's pinky promise, Suzura-chan. We'll never become one of them!" She held Suzura's hand between hers, eyes locked to each other.
"But I don't know what that means..." Ayako sympathetically smiled.
"That's okay. It's better you don't know anyway!" She retorted, giggling.
