Dedicated to viamaria for being one of the greatest friend I could ever ask for! She's a really grand person and you should go follow her! You should also go read her stories that are really good!
We stepped into the mall and I could already smell the warm pretzels and the water from the fountain. This made the mall not so bad. I didn't eat breakfast so the smell of the pretzels made my mouth water.
We walked around for a little bit, every few seconds Zoe looking at something. She only bought a lilac shirt.
"I wonder where they are," Zoe says.
What?
"Found them!" Zoe squealed.
I look over and see her pointing at two girls sitting on the edge of the fountain.
We walk over to the and one of them engulfed Zoe in a hug, while the other only gave a half hug. I recognized the one who full on hugged her as her cousin, Blythe. The other one I don't know.
"Oh! Lexi this is Lexy." Zoe introduced.
I rolled my eyes. "My name is Alexia, not Lexi. She likes to annoy me."
Lexy just giggled. "My name is Alexia too, but I go by Lexy."
We hung out for awhile. We went around to different shops, Zoe and Blythe dragging us along. Lexy doesn't like the mall either, so we kind of just hung back.
"I hate this song!" Lexy exclaimed as an One Direction song came on.
"Really, because I hate all their music."
"Yeah, boy bands make me want to gag."
I laughed at her comment as we walking into yet another clothing store.
"Oh, look at that top!" Blythe exclaimed.
I rolled my eyes at her. The mall this time wasn't as difficult to put up with than I thought. I actually enjoyed my time at the mall, mostly because of Lexy.
After we felt like our stomached were going to shrivel up, due to the lack of food, we got pretzels.
We were sitting in the sitting area taking and admiring the cute boys walking by. After awhile are pretzels started to disappear, along with our sodas.
As soon as Lance walked by, I had already finished all my food.
"Alexia?" he asked.
"Hi."
I could just tell Zoe glaring at him and the other two eying each other.
"I never got your number, so I couldn't contact you. I was wondering if you wanted to go on that date on Friday."
"Sure, I don't think I'm doing anything."
"Cool. I was begging Kylee to give me your number but she refused."
I laughed and he waved good bye and walked away.
"Wait, I didn't give you my number."
"Oh, duh."
I gave him my number and he walked away. All eyes were on me after that. It was really awkward.
"So. . . ," I trailed.
"Explain yourself," Zoe commanded.
"What?"
"How did you get someone that hot?"
"What do you mean? He's not. I just thought he was nice and he helped me dance."
"That doesn't explain everything."
So I told them everything that happened at the wedding. They just sat there afterwards.
"It's not that big of a deal."
"Yes, it is. You also left out major details. Why didn't you tell me he was hot?" Zoe complained.
"I didn't because he's not."
"Sweetheart. I think you need help categorize what's hot and what's not," Blythe says, patting my shoulder.
"Now, see that boy over there? That is cute. His friend not so much."
"I get it. Can we move on? I'm really tired," I complained.
"Guys it's okay. It's not that big of a deal. Lets just go home. I'm kind of tired too," Lexy said, backing me up.
I secretly thanked my new friend in my mind as the other two gave up. We went to Zoe's car, said goodbye, and left the mall behind us.
______________A/N: Warning! Long, but please read!
Hey guys. So to start sorry it took me forever to update and that this is really short. It's just over 600 words, I know it's sad. Also thank you so much for over 5k reads and over 200 votes! I'm just ecstatic!
So, I want to thank a very special person. Her name is Lexy. If you want to follow her, which I recommend you do, her account is @viamaria. She is so sweet and kind and anything a friend could ask for. So, this is dedicated to her. And if you couldn't guess she was Lexy in this chapter. Also some of the things she said are what she has actually said. So credit to her on those.
I need ideas for the date. Okay that's all. Have a wonderful day and until you read again.
