I rolled up to my locker where Zoe was waiting for me with my books in her hands.

"I got your books out of your locker for you, since you can't reach it," Zoe said.

"Thanks," I said being cordial.

"So, the little, innocent nerd is now even more pathetic. If that was even possible," teased someone from behind.

I turned my head to see Morgan staring at me along with his gang.

"Oh shut up, Morgan!" Zoe yelled as we tried to get away from him.

"I don't think so," he said grabbing Zoe.

"Let go of her!" I screamed.

He threw her and it looked like she was alright with just a few cuts. He then asked, "Is that what you wanted?"

"Just leave us alone," I spit, very annoyed.

"Not so fast," he said grabbing the handle to my wheelchair.

"If you don't let go of me, trust me when I say, you will be in worst shape then I am right now," I gritted my teeth. I honestly don't know where that came from, but I did know I could keep my promise.

"I highly doubt that," he snarled as he kicked my leg.

The pain was unbearable but I didn't want to give him the satisfactory that he hurt me so I just sat up taller.

"Well it looks like little miss perfect can take a punch," he said kicking me again, but this time harder. Then he punched me in the stomach and slapped me upside the head.

It felt like he ripped the stitches. My stomach was fine, but my head felt dizzy. I started to see white when I heard a voice.

"What do you think you are doing?!" a female voice yelled not helping my headache.

I then heard shoes hitting against the ground, so I assumed they has run away.

"Are you okay?"

It was Mrs. Trace who saved me. I can hear her voice and she is now saying other words that I can't piece together.

I then heard a couple of 'Is she going to be alright?' from a wide verity of accents.

I could make out an outline of someone kneeling next to me. I started to rise off the ground. The figure was picking me up.

They started whispering reassuring words in my ears as the figure started running. At that moment I figured out it was Tyler. Then I heard two sets of footsteps next to him. I did he best I to lift my head. I saw Mrs. Trace and Zoe running along side him.

We reached the nurses office where I got set down on the bed. At that moment I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore. Everything went white and I passed out.

My eyes fluttered open. I could see many people in the room I was in. There was a constant beeping noise. I was in a bed and I had needles and other medical equipment on me. I then realized I was in a hospital.

"Zoe," was all that could pass through my throat and into the air to make a sound.

"Alexia!" she shouted and hugged me the best she could.

"What time is it?" I asked. Why it was the first thing I ask as I lie in a hospital bed finally awake, I don't know.

"It's 3 A.M. honey," my dad said appearing at the side if my bed.

"What?!" I shouted.

"You passed out yesterday and we took you here. Zoe wanted to stay awake until you woke up. So did this other kid, but he went to go get us some water. You should thank both of them because the rest of us went to sleep," my father informed me.

"Really?" I looked at Zoe and she nodded, "Wait who was the other person?"

At that moment the door opened. We all looked and saw Tyler in the doorway with bottles of water. Well I guess that answered my question.

"Hey! You are awake!" he said happily.

"Yeah, my eyes are open so I guess I am," I joked.

"I should probably tell the doctor you are awake," my dad said leaving the room.

"How do you feel?" Tyler asked.

"I feel dizzy and my leg hurts really bad," I told them.

"Your leg probably hurts because they had to redo the stitches," Zoe said.

"What do you mean?" I asked, sending both of them a quizzical look.

"Morgan ripped the stitching on your leg when he kicked you. He wouldn't of have normally, but he was wearing his cleats. They spike things cut it," Tyler told me.

"Oh, umm okay," was all I said.

"He got expelled if that makes you feel better. Oh, and his gang all got in huge trouble," Zoe said.

"Well at lease there is one good thing about this whole situation," I happily said.

The doctor came in. He asked me a ton of questions then checked a bunch of stuff. I was apparently okay, but I had to rest. I just nodded my head, then closed my eyes thinking about the day.
