I was in the middle of throwing on a pair of jeans when Zoe texted me. Like seriously, I now have to respond to this text with only one leg in my pants.

Zoe-Need ride

Alexia-Great sentences! So, you need a ride?

Zoe-Gosh your so difficult It's texting I meant do YOU need a ride

Alexia-Yeah, that will be great, but you have to work on your punctuation.

Zoe-You know what maybe I won't give you a ride.

Alexia-Well, at least you started to use a little punctuation.

Zoe-See you in 10.

Alexia-Okay

Zoe-Look who isn't using punctuation now.

Alexia-It's not a complete sentence!

Zoe-Just shut up.

I quickly texted her bye and then continued to put on my pants. I grabbed a blue tee shirt, ran a brush through my hair, and then went downstairs.

When I entered the kitchen, I saw Hudson doing either his happy dance or his I-need-to-pee dance. They are pretty similar.

"What's the matter?" I asked.

"I made it! I'm on Worst Cooks in America!" he squealed. Gosh, he's such a girl.

"Awesome!" I did my best to run and hug him.

"Wait, never mind. I'm only on it if there is any drop outs," he said sadly.

"I'm sure someone might die or something," I encouraged. I didn't work though; He still had that sad expression.

"That is harsh," he said.

"I'm sorry. I was just trying to cheer you up," I told him.

"I know. Well I should probably drive you to school on the way to the airport," he wined.

"What?"

"I have been here for two weeks already. I have to go back to collage."

"Will you come back for Thanksgiving?"

"Of course. I will be back in 4 weeks."

"Can't you stay one more day? I mean your birthday is tomorrow."

"No, sorry."

The doorbell rang and I remembered Zoe was taking me to school. Hudson opened the door and gave me the eyebrow.

"Sorry I forgot to tell you that Zoe is picking me up."

"How did you forget that? This is going to be a trip of your lifetime. Maybe even the last," Zoe cut in.

We just both sent her a terrified look in return. I then decided to say, "Sorry, Hudson."

"How 'bout I take you both to school?" he asked.

"What about my car?" Zoe asked.

"You can come back after school to get it," Hudson suggested.

"Okay," I agreed.

Hudson never gets this way. He has something really important on his mind. I can't just let Zoe take me to school.

"I will just go. I will give you a ride tomorrow," Zoe said hinting the same thing as me.
