~Tyler's POV~
I was driving to Alexia's house when I saw Zoe walking in the same direction. I pulled over and opened the door. "Need a ride?"
"Hey, Tyler! Sure, thanks." She hopped in and I drove off.
I couldn't help but notice that Zoe's face was still a little bruised. I still feel really bad about that. I can't help but feel sorry for her; the night I bruised her face, her boyfriend broke up with her. We got to Alexia's house when I relized I didn't ask where Zoe was going. She just responded with, "Funny, I was going the same place."
Zoe just walked right in, but I couldn't just barge into her house. Zoe motioned for me to come, I hesitated, but followed her anyway. The house was silient, so we weren't really sure if anyone was home. We ended up finding Hudson on his labtop in the kitchen, by his whistling.
"Zoe, I swear I'm going to remember to lock that door one day." Hudson promised.
"Well, Alexia told me where the key is, so that won't work."
I laughed. They argued like brother and sister, and they probably felt like it too.
"Well, Alexia left. She should be home soon."
"Okay." Zoe said.
We waited about 20 minutes until Zoe decieded to leave. I offered her a ride, but she shot it down. I'm glad Zoe left, because the real reason I came her was to talk to Hudson in private. "Hudson?"
"Yes?"
"I wanted to ask you something." I said unsure.
He looked up from the computer. "I'm taking an online class, so let me just send this to my teacher and then we can talk."
I nodded and looked around the kitchen. It was the same it always looked. There's really nothing special about kitchens anyway. The thing was, their kitchen felt welcoming and safe.
"Okay, now what did you want to talk about?" Hudson asked me.
I sighed. "I really like your sister. She just doesn't like me back. What do I do?"
"It's funny that you come to me for advise. I know nothing about this kind of stuff. I would have gone to Lia or a sibling you have. I guess just give her time."
"Okay, but I can't wait. I really like her. I have since sixth grade. I can't wait any longer."
"She'll come to her senses eventually. Any other questions for me?"
I was about to answer when I hear the door open. I turn my head and see Alexia fly up the stairs. She was defiantly crying.
"Alexia!"
I'm positive she heard me even though she kept running. I was about to go when Hudson said, "Wait a second. Let her cool down."
"Thanks, but I can't stand to see her cry."
I ran up the stairs to go find her. I stood by her door listening to the soft sound of her crying. I opened the door and found her curled into a ball. I sat down on her bed and stared at her. Even with tears steaming down her face, she looked absolutely beautiful.
"Leave me alone." She snapped.
"Friends watch each others back and right now I'm watching it by rubbing it." I replied. Of course I say the most stupidest thing possible.
"Good technique, but I don't need your 'I told you sos.'"
"So, is this because of Lance? Because I could beat him up for you."
This made me hate Lance even more. He always does this. I don't understand. How can you do that to a girl? Especially if its a girl like Alexia? He hurt my favorite person and I'm gonna hurt him.
"I prefer to beat up my own people."
I tried not to laugh. "Well, I happen to be cousins with this 'people' so I know all his weak spots."
"Are we plotting revenge?"
"My main reason of coming up here wouldn't be complete if we didn't."
She smiled and hugged me. I love her smile; if only I could see it more. Alexia just started crying really hard as she hit my chest.
"Thank you." She whispered.
"Don't sweat it. Now, what did this jerk do?"
"I walking into his room and he was half naked with a girl pressed up against him. The girl was also a jerk, so they would be perfect together."
That's so wrong, but I laughed at the last part. "I'm sure they would be. Now what would you say if I knew that his parents are gonna be gone for the weekend and Kylee told me where the house key is?"
She smiled. Oh, the smile. "I'd say, you are the bestest friend ever."
How does she do this to my heart?
