Chapter Seventeen

"Welcome to the World Music Awards" Leslie Grace greeted the crowd as the celebrities got settled in their respective positions. Categorized as the second Grammys, artists worldwide was recognized in this award show without any labels or categories.

"I am so pleased to be the first latina to grace this stage tonight." She chuckled at the pun she created as she continued the show. "We have Little Mix here tonight" she announced as the crowd reacted in excitement. "Beyonce...wait, is that destiny's child I see." The camera zoomed on the three best friends that chuckled besides one another. She held her hand up "I know y'all ready for this one. BTS IS IN THE BUILDING!" The crowd went wild  at the mention of the world's biggest boy band.

"I can't forget pop's princess and my girl. ROSE!!" The camera zoomed on Rosette as she blushed softly. Sending a kiss to Leslie, the host caught it playfully. Leslie continued with her hosting as an arm creeped upon rosette's shoulders. She looked up at Jackson who squeezed her shoulder tightly in encouragement as the awards finally began distributing.

"I can't tell of you're more nervous about the award or our performance." She have him a smile, "both. Aren't you nervous?" He shrugged "Somewhat."

As intermission began the duo went backstage to get prepared for their performance. "Rosette!" A familiar voice called out to rose as she made her way out of her dressing room. "Arianna." She whispered as the female approached her. She can tell the female went for a hug but chose against it. "How have you been? It's been what, two years?"  Rosette gave her a closed mouthed smile and Ariana smile faltered a bit. "Still haven't forgiven me?" She whispered. "ROSETTE, JACKSON! YOU'RE ON IN 5!" Rosette looked at the director then back to Arianna. "I got to go."

"Our next performers, make some noise for Rose and Jackson Wang!!" Liza Koshy presented the duo as the camera panned towards the stage.

The echo of the fans reciting the lyrics filled the arena. The reciting turned into screams as Jackson finally took the stage.

The fans and many celebrity friends screamed at the intimacy portrayed on the stage. The years of guessing and asking was finally being revealed before them. However, one of them was visibly bothered and it captured the interest of the camera man.

Jackson pulled Rosette close to him, staring into her soul through the portal that rested upon on face.

In a flash, their lips met in an unrehearsed interlock. She smiled as they pulled away and left the stage after bowing to the crowd. "I guess it's public official." He joked as they made their way to their seats.

After a next few moments the group of seven males began getting dressed for their comeback performance. Tensions were high as the males got final touches done. All of the boys minus two were worried, will the tension be noticeable, will the performance be memorable, is this a mistake. "Give it up.....FOR GOT7!!"

The dimmed lights were finally brightening and as entertainers they all masked their issues and gave the audience a show to remember.
