I'd like to say we gave it a try
I'd like to blame it all on life
Maybe we just weren't right
But that's a lie, that's a lie.

And we can deny it
As much as we want
But in time our feelings will show
'Cause sooner or later
We'll wonder why we gave up
Truth is everyone knows

Almost, almost is never enough
So close to being in love
If I would have known
That you wanted me
The way I wanted you
Then maybe we wouldn't be two world apart but right here in each other arms
But we almost
we almost knew what love was
But almost is never enough.

The melody and vocals covered the room as Jaebeom walked in on Teddy, their producer, Ryan and Mitchell, the co-writers and of course Jackson, who sat on the couch vibing as a support system.

Jaebeom was greeted warmly by their team, he was quite shocked at the handshake Jackson gave him. It felt foreign but a part of him still felt the brotherhood they once shared. "You came right on time, she's wrapping up her verse in a minute--" Teddy was cut off as he heard his name being called out. "Can add another harmony?" He nodded "sure rose, where would you like to add it?" "Right where Jaebeom's verse lie. A few vocal runs."

Jaebeom and Jackson was stilled at the tent before them. "This is a beautiful song." Jackson mentioned, giving Jaebeom his props on the portion that he wrote and the entirety that he assisted with. His former leader nodded and gave a soft smile before looking back up to the former lover who walked from the booth. "Jaebeom, is your go." He watched as she sat besides his former mate and gave a exhale before stating where he'd like to continue his session.

If I could change the world overnight
There'd be no such thing as goodbye
You'd be standing right where you were
And we'd get the chance we deserve.

Try to deny it as much as you want
But in time our feelings will show.

"It's a beautiful song" Ryan spoke out into the air as they all took a break. Jackson had left along with Teddy and Mitchell leaving the trio to relax in an empty studio. "I feel like it reflects on both of y'all situation." Jaebeom and Rosette's head snapped to their mutual friend. "What? I heard both sides more than enough." He chuckled. "Y'all are so oblivious that y'all didn't even realize the lyrics being written." Rosette sucked her teeth. "Ryan.." she had alot to say but had no idea how to say it.

"Are you denying that these lyrics are inaccurate to you guy's feelings?" They both sat in silence. "Listen, Jackson and Arianna are amazing people." Rose scoffed "I beg to differ." Ryan looked at Rose and scolded her. "Stop it, Stop and listen. I'm being the devil's advocate." Jaebeom's eyebrows furrowed together "is that really relevant here?" "Yes it is" Ryan quickly answered.

"Rosette, Arianna isn't perfect and I highly doubt that her actions are laced with malice. I've known her long enough to know when she's being a bitch and genuine and it's genuine that she never meant to hurt you." Ryan pointed at his friend and Rose retaliated. "Well she did Ryan! How can you sit and defend her for falling for my man?!" She raised her voice slightly. "Did you not fall for him in your marriage?"

Rosette eyes widened at the slap to her face. "Wow." She sat back "Rose, I didn't mean to say that to hurt you but it's facts. You fell for this man and you tried to fight the emotion but caved. According to what Arianna told me, the situation doesn't look too different except that the fact that Anthony and Jaebeom were not friends."

"Rose, I agree that this situation is like the ultimate betrayal. You're best friend and lover got together, it makes you question how long the affection was there for." Rose nodded and tears slowly welled up.

"Ryan, it's even more than that. I was hurt both physically and emotionally and they both starting fucking around during that period. It's like they took the advantage of my disability to fuck around." Jaebeom saw a tear fell down her face and he held himself back from wiping it. "You know how I felt asking Jackson about this man because I wanted him so badly to overhear Arianna being worried about being a rebound? It hurts!"

Ryan went to interject but Jaebeom spoke before him. "Rose, I'm sorry." She turned to him and he looked at her in her eyes. "I am genuinely sorry for being the cause of the pain you faced not even just Arianna but with Anthony to." She bit her lip. "Shit, Rosette. I can't redo what I did, I can't fix the hurt I've caused because at this point it's not only you but Arianna because she fell so hard for someone who's still stuck on the woman he truly loved and I'm sorry for that too."

Ryan sat back and Jaebeom stood up "yeah, you're right." He pointed at Ryan, "But my writing wasn't my oblivion I knew what I meant under every word." Rosette eyes dropped and she say silent.

"You both made mistakes and I'm going to get a bit biblical but no one mistakes is greater than the other, although there are some loopholes for that but in this situation I find that fitting." Ryan began.

"In no way am I saying rekindle you're relationship if you both think it's done but I am saying try to lower the guard and hurt and listen to understand." On Ryan's final note Mitchell and Teddy returned. "You guys are in therapy?" Mitchell joked as the sat down to resume business as it was before.
