~Chapter Twenty One~

•Brooke's POV•
We'd been sitting on the couch for about twenty minutes. I was impatient. "Let's just go!" I said grabbing Brittany's arm and pulling her outside. "Your not gon-" I cut her off by pulling her into the pool. When I came back up she splashed me in the face. "What the heck?!?" She laughed. I just gave her a devious smile. "I have a great idea." I said as I spotted a bin with water guns and pool things. I got out and ran too it. "Here." I said as I tossed her a water gun. Then I gestured for her to go on the other side of the door. We heard the boys making a ruckus. Andrew opened the door and started to walk out. We soaked him with water. Just after him Jason, stupidly, followed and we soaked him also. I hadn't noticed Andrew was gone from my sight. Then I felt arms wrap around me and pick me up. I knew immediately I was about to get thrown in the pool. "OH MY GOD!" I screamed as I was thrown in the pool. I stayed underwater and swam to the stairs. Then I ran out of the pool. Just in time too. I jumped on Andrews back and he fell in the pool. Then I saw Brittany push Jason in. But at the last second he grabbed her hand and she went down with him.We all started to laugh. Then We just messed around some more.
<Evening (about 7:30p.m.)>
We were just sitting outside around a nice fire pit. I never knew Andrew had all these awesome things. It's almost like he's rich. Extremely rich. Maybe he is, Maybe that's his secret. I laughed out loud by accident from the thought. "What's funny?" Andrew asked. "Nothing." I said and smiled at him. "Well I don't know about you-" I cut Brittany off and sang; "But I'm FEELIN TWENTY-TWOOOOOO!" We all laughed at my sudden outburst. "As I was saying, we should go get some food! I'm starving." She said once we were all done laughing. "I agree." Jason, Andrew, and I said simultaneously. "Don't copy what I say!" I yell at them. They all laughed at me. I just crossed my arms across my chest and shook my head, as I walked inside to change. I heard Brittany follow. I changed back into my clothes and so did Brittany. We were still waiting for the boys. You would think they would be waiting for us. "Uggghhhh! I'm gonna starve to death by the time they come down!" Brittany whined. I just laughed at her. I was sick of waiting too so I got up and started up the stair case to Andrew's room. "Where are you going Brooke?" Brittany asked. I just kept going up. His door was closed, I knocked. I heard footsteps and he opened the door. I just walked in and sat on his bed. "Just walk in." I heard him whisper sarcastically under his breath. "I heard you!" I said jokingly. "Yeah,Yeah, Yeah." He said. "Are you ready? You take longer than me!" I laugh. "Yeah." He smirked. "Then LETS GO!" I yelled dragging him out of his room. I was about to pull him down the stairs, but I tripped over something. Of course being the clumsy girl I am, I fell flat on my face. "Ow." I said quietly on the floor. I heard Andrew chuckle as he helped me up. I gave him a pouty face. "That hurt." I said crossing my arms. "I have one question?" Andrew said. "Shoot." "How did you even trip?" He asked. I look back and see one of my vans stuck in the door. I look back at Andrew and see he noticed also. We both started to laugh. I walked back to the door and grab my shoe. Then I go back and sit on the step to put it on. Andrew sits down next to me. I stare into his sparkling eyes. He stares back. We just sit there a moment. Then Jason's voice breaks the silence. "Hey love birds, let's go, your starving the rest of us." I laughed and then we got up and walked down the stairs. Andrew grabbed my hand, then locked the door and we started to walk towards McDonald's. "Jason, We'll catch up with you guys in a minute."Andrew said."Okay." Jason said, then Brittany looked at me. I just nodded her okay, then they set off ahead of us. Andrew turned to face me, once they were a little farther ahead of us. "I know we've only been on one date and everything, but I think I'm in love with you. So Brooke, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked as he pulled out a black box with a pink ribbion rapped around it. I was speechless. I felt my eyes start to tear up, Happy tears though. "Y-Yes." I managed to get out. He handed me the box, and I opened it. Inside was a bracelet with a small infinity charm on it. "Oh my God Andrew! I LOVE IT!" I said then gave him a hug. "Now we better catch up to them, cause if we don't Brittany might start a search party." Andrew laughed. "Race you to them!" I screamed as I started to run.
"You had a head start!" Andrew said when he reached us. "Only by like three feet!" I responded, laughing as we walked into McDonalds. Thank goodness that the McDonalds is close to our houses. "No need to be so loud!" Brittany said to us laughing. We all walked up and ordered. I just got chicken nuggets and an M&M McFlurry. Brittany got the same except she got a coke instead of a McFlurry. Andrew and Jason both got hamburgers and a soda. Once our food came out we went to go find a seat. I finished my McFlurry, but I was still thirsty, so I took Andrew's cup and started to drink out of it, he didn't even notice I took it. I place it back down and looked at Brittany who sat across from me. We both started to laugh over that. The boys gave us a weird look, but we kept laughing. "What did you do?" Jason asked us. "Nothing. NOTHING at ALL." I said through my laughter. I didn't even know why this was so funny, but it was to us at the moment. "You know, by you saying that it only makes us more suspicious." Andrew said raising an eyebrow at us. Then he went to pick up his drink. There was nothing left."What?" I asked when he looked at me. "You drank all my soda!" He said crossing his arms. "Maybe." I said. Then he gave me a look, and lets just say I grabbed the cup walked away and refilled it. "A 'thank you Brooke' would be nice you know." I said as I handed it to him. "But your the one that drank out of it." He said. "I didn't have to go refill it though." I pointed out. "Fine, Thank you." He said. "Anytime." I said sarcastically. Then we got up threw our trash out and started back to Andrews house.
