A/N: Sorry for leaving you at a cliffhanger in the previous chapter (I'm not really sorry heh). Well, this chapter is quite interesting because Fenix reveals who he actually is and they finally enter the magical realm.

Kriza

I stared in horror and absolute shock as the blood gushed out. He wasted no time. He spun around, grabbed the attacker's neck, and snapped it into two.

"Ah shit. shit. I don't have much time to recover... Too many injuries in a day..." For a moment he seemed lost in deep thought and I stood there paralyzed and disgusted. My brain was still processing the situation. First the Chirari, then him, and now this? What was going on? I had come on a simple camping holiday vacation with my BFFs ao how did I get myself mixed up in this shit? Everything was damn hard to believe but it was happening.

"Yes. I think I know a way to save both our lives. But for that, you have to trust me. Give me your hands, sit, and don't open your eyes until I ask you to. I hope this works."

I obeyed and sat down. We intertwined our fingers and suddenly he started channeling something into my body. I can't really describe it. It was as hot as lava and it made my skin steam. but at the same time, the icy cold energy numbed my body. My veins were on fire. At that moment I Felt agony. Pure physical agony. And I couldn't take it any longer so I screamed.

"Hush it's fine. It'll be fine in a moment" Those words were strangely comforting. He kept on channeling the energy when he finally stopped. "Open your eyes now." Strangely, I saw no one.

"ok... I cant see you. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Wait, was that an invisibility spell or something?"

"Na-ah dummy. I'm not invisible. You just can't see me."

"If you aren't here then where are you ?"

"Inside you of course!"

"Inside me? Like inside my head? Get out of there right now! I don't like people disturbing my privacy. Get out !" I flushed.

"Calm down dummy! First, let's cross the barrier, and then we'll go see a warlock....."

"Huh? A warlock what for?"

"Well because I think the spell might've been permanent.... You see I've never done anything like this before or ever used magic at all. so there might be some complications."

Everything that was building inside of me burst out at that very moment.

"Whatttt??? Are you freaking serious? You- you son of a-"

"Language, my lady," He chuckled.

"You know what? Fine, we'll go to this magical realm of yours, go see a warlock, fix the current situation but before that YOU'RE GONNA FREAKING TELL ME WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT THE HELL'S GOING ON! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?" I roared. Wow, it felt good to be in charge.

"Your wish is my command. What do you wish to know?"

"EVERYTHING! FROM THE BEGINNING!"

"Very Well. Then first let's cross the barrier and then I'll tell you everything."

We crossed the barrier pretty easily and so, he started.

"I am Fenix, the king's only trusted, secret adviser. Or rather was. A long time ago the king of Aurendel had conquered the whole of the magical realm excluding hell and a few parts of it. Some people despised who he was as he was considered the most powerful and successful king in centuries. One night, The king came to me and said, "Fenix I need your help. You have been a great friend to me. Therefore I have come to you."

"I'll do anything for you, my king, If it is in my power," I said.

"Yes. Yes, it is. I want you to pretend to be my heir and hide in the mortal realm for as long as you can. Until you find a worthy successor, do not be caught at the hands of enemies." He then started channeling powerful magic through my body and squeezed out every last bit of whatever was left in his body and said, "This task I am entrusting you with carries the fate of all of Aurendel. I have passed on to you my experiences, my knowledge, and my magic. You can't use the magic even if you wanted to use it. You couldn't use it, because the magic doesn't belong to you. It will only answer to its master. Whoever is the heir. I couldn't entrust this to anyone else but you as you have remained a secret these years and no one knows of your existence."

"what of you my king?" I questioned him.

"I am worn out after the war with the demons of hell. Although I am immortal, I will not be able to rule anymore and soon go into a state of paralysis. Also, my spies have sniffed conspiracies against me from the north. Therefore I must vanish and never come back. Fenix my friend thank you for being loyal to me all these years I hope I don't get you much trouble." The king smiled sadly.

"My king, this task you have given me, I will remember to serve it with my life. You may finally be free of any worries and rest in peace now," I said with tears in my eyes

"After the disappearance of the king, the 3 royal families fought amongst themselves for the throne. Many who were sworn to the throne now saw an opportunity to rule. This went on for a couple of years until a prophecy declared that the heir to the throne had been born and whoever he/she is will either bring doom upon the realm or establish peace. People were scared because such a prophecy had taken place after 500 years so while some people wanted to crown the heir, some simply wanted to kill 'it'."

I listened with great interest. " Correct me if I'm wrong but vampires can't do magic they're just predators. So what are you?"

"Smart are we?" He smirked.

"I am a half-breed. A vampire and a wizard. My dad was a vampire and my mother was a witch. So I got traits from both sides of my family."

"That's why you can do magic....." I guessed starting to make sense of things.

"Come on, your turn to answer questions now."

"There's nothing to answer. I am a mortal. A purebred human. And possibly you couldn't be interested in me!"

"I wouldn't be so sure about being interested in," I blushed. I hoped it didn't show on my face but I did blush.  "But I definitely know that you're not a human. Because no one, not even a magical creature could resist my compel that strong."

"What are you talking about?" My expression obviously puzzled.

"When I drank from you, I couldn't brush your mind at all it was as if you were shielding your mind against me and my magic. Which is a rare ability. Are you sure your human?"

"Yes, I am. And there should be no doubt about it." I said awkwardly.

"You'll be happy to hear that I've finally chosen my h-" His words were interrupted by a shrill cry as they pierced through me and my thoughts.
