Ekko, Vi, and I made our way to where Caitlyn was, it's been about an hour since we have been out. "We should scare her." I said to Ekko. He smirked. "Good idea, I'll throw you at her." "Wait what-"

I was cut off by Ekko opening the door. A small boy with a mask went in and took off the bag on her head, as well as removing the rope on her hands. The boy then offered her a bowl of water which she shoved away. The bowl landing by Ekko.

"What have you done with Iris and Vi? Listen, let them go. I brought them here, it's me you want." She convinced. Just then Ekko reached to the side and grabbed me and threw me towards her. Caitlyn yelled, as I let out a cough hitting the floor. "Dude that seemed a little too personal." "Our hero." Vi cooed.

Caitlyn scoffed as I got up. "I thought they were hurting you!" I glared at Ekko as he laughed. "Vi and Iris say I can trust you." I furrowed my brows. "I never said any-" Ekko put a hand on my mouth as he continued. "You get a pass back topside, that's it. Lets go." He finished, letting go of my face.

We made it outside as Caitlyn looked around. "It's beautiful." Ekko crossed his arms. "If your people had their way it would be rubble and ash." "It's a misunderstanding, they think you work for Silco." Ekko uncrossed his arms and walked towards her. "Your people hunt us like animals. Silco pays them to do it."

Ekko was in Caitlyn face as she shook her head. "That's not possible. You're wrong." I scoffed, making a face as I pointed to it. Caitlyn got the memo and shut up. I went over to Ekko and pulled him away slightly.

"She believes what she's saying, she's not your enemy." Vi stepped in. Ekko scoffed again. "Oh yeah, then what's this?" He opened the capsule containing a blue orb. Caitlyn's face lit up. "You got it. You have to let me take that back." Ekko pulled the orb away.

"What the hell even is that?" I asked. "It's a gemstone. It was stolen during the attack, by Jinx." Vi's face scrunched. "Her name is Powder, and why did you forget to mention anything about that stupid gemstone?"

Caitlyn took a breath. "With this, someone with the right knowledge could build any Hextech device. If enforcers are becoming more aggressive, that's why." Ekko stared at the gemstone in his hand before speaking. "We could beat Silco with this." Caitlyn shook her head. "That won't solve things." "Easy for you to say, your people aren't dying all around you."

Ekko looked at the floor as I looked over at Vi and Caitlyn. I just seemed to notice Caitlyn was taller then Vi and let out a giggle. Vi looked at me with an eyebrow raised. "What's so funny?" "Caitlyn's taller than you, how does that make your ego feel?" She scoffed, smiling. "At least I'm taller than you." I narrowed my eyes. "That doesn't count."

Caitlyn continued. "What's been done to you is wrong. You'd be well within your right to keep it. I couldn't blame you. But if you do, the cycle of violence will never stop. This city needs healing. Please, let me help you." My gaze at Caitlyn softened at her words. I sniffled as I wiped a fake tear. "For once I agree with her."

Ekko looked at the girl. "You got a plan?" "I have a friend on the council, let me take the gemstone to him. He'll listen to me, your people wouldn't have to hide anymore."

Ekko looked at the gemstone once again. "One condition, I'm the one who give it to them." Caitlyn nodded, causing a small smile to appear on Ekko's face. I elbowed him. "Look at you all happy." He rolled his eyes and flicked my face, to which I laughed.

The four of us walked through the nasty sewers as firelights lit the way. "What are they?" Caitlyn asked. I smiled. "We call them firelights, I've never seen so many though." I put my finger out as one landed on it. I put it on Vi's face making her flinch at the feeling and slap it off. "What the hell?" I pouted.

We all made it to the bridge as we were heading over to Piltover. Vi looked uneasy. I stood next to her and took her hand. "You alright?" She stopped walking causing me to as well. "Vi?" Ekko asked. Vi faced the floor. "I can't leave her again." "You can't change her." "I have to try."

Ekko walked up to Vi giving her a hug. "Don't get yourself killed." She smiled. "No promises." She then gave Caitlyn a quick hug making me a little jealous, but I knew I'd get a hug.

Vi's eyes looked down at mine as she came forward giving me a hug. Her hands cradled my head as she pulled me close. I couldn't help a tear escape from my eye. "It's been real, thanks for everything." I pulled away slightly and looked at her. "It's like your saying goodbye forever, don't say it like that." "Sorry Cupcake."

Just as I turned around Vi grabbed the back of my neck causing me to face her, she pulled me into a kiss. I of course kissed back. My cheeks went red as I remembered two people were stood behind me. Vi slowly pulled away keeping her eyes on mine as I smiled. I brushed my thumb on her cheek. "Good luck."

Vi smiled lightly as she started to walk away, her head to the floor . Another tear left my eye as I quickly wiped it away and walked to the others. Ekko had a huge smirk plastered across his face. "So you weren't gonna tell me? I mean it's pretty obvious but still!" He continued to tease as we made our way down the bridge.

Suddenly a bunch of lights turned on causing me to fly my arms in front of my face. "Halt!" A man yelled. "What the fuck Caitlyn?" I muttered. "Sir!" Caitlyn paused grabbing her badge. "I have proof Silco is behind everything!" The man walked forward. "Show me."

Caitlyn looked Ekko as did I. Caitlyn signaled for him to open it. "No." He whispered as he shook his head. Caitlyn gave him a nod as he scoffed opening the capsule. Ekko started to open it as a gun was pointed at him. "Ekko don-" I was cut off by a gun shot. "Oh my god." I mumbled, holding my mouth.

One of the men held a gun to my head as I held my hands up, tears escaping my eyes. He bent down and grabbed the capsule. "I told you to leave this alone." The man said, now pointing the gun at Caitlyn.

As I looked up I saw hundreds of firelights above me. "Woah." I smiled, forgetting what was happening around me. Though as one got close I saw it was mechanical. "Shit." I whispered, as I walked backwards.

The firelights started exploding, multiple hitting me. I got flung toward as I hit my head on the stone bridge. I felt my body burn as multiple pieces of glass went into my body. There were so many mini explosions going on that I thought they would never stop, but they did.

I held my head in my hands trying to catch my breath. I looked up and saw a girl, Powder. She shot at an enforcer causing me to jump. I heard rushed footsteps and looked to see Vi. She slid over grabbing my face. I smiled. "Hey. Go get Caitlyn."

Just as the words left my mouth Caitlyn appeared in front of us. Vi helped me to my feet as I groaned. Powder stared for a moment before firing her machine gun causing Vi to push Caitlyn and I away.

As I landed on the floor I let out a small yell. There were many holes in my shirt which meant there many shards in my skin, couldn't wait for Vi to take care of that. I looked up and saw Ekko fly by on his board.

He screamed as he zoomed by Powder, knocking the gun out of her hand. She continued to shoot her other gun at him but she missed. Ekko hit her causing the capsule to fly into his hands. He threw it at Vi and Caitlyn and yelled at them to go.

I stood up as they walked over, my knees weak causing me to fumble. Vi and Caitlyn made it over to me as I put an arm around Vi's free side. We made it off the bridge and Vi set Caitlyn and I down. I clutched my stomach in pain as I felt blood seep onto my fingers.

Caitlyn seemed to be okay. She had glass shards in her legs, that was all I could see. I could feel my forehead bleeding down my face as I wiped it away. Vi looked around the corner as a big boom happened. I could only imagine what happened.

Caitlyn open the capsule revealing the gemstone was gone. "It's gone." I scoffed, taking a sharp inhale. "Great, I got fucked by fake firelights for nothing." Caitlyn stood up, she seemed to be doing alright. She put a hand out and helped me up that I hesitantly took. As I stood up I could feel the shards move around in my skin, causing me to swear.

"We can go to my house, follow me." Caitlyn spoke up, leading us to her crazy big house.
